' When you painted a lighter top on the lantern, I thought the whole lantern was going to be that color other than black. I never thought of painting a lighter color for the highlights. It made sense in the time of twilight. I would have done white streaks which would be more for when the sun is up, then the lantern wouldn't be glowing. How planning is so important. I learn a lot more with you than other youtube artists. Keep it up.
I thought about white streaks at the beginning, but if I were to do that on the lines it would mean that there would be a light source at the front of the Lantern instead of just the sun as back light to create the silhouette, so in the end I didn't end up using it xD I wanted to make it glow more, but I started with too dark of a red, you can use a lighter red along the top edges for the effect I think
Your voice is so refreshing, cool and aesthetic I just feel that I came out of cool water as it's summer time in INDIA❤️❤️ and I just subscribed 👍🏼❤️❤️❤️

this painting of yours makes me realize that we can create anything no matter what supplies we have. i’m always burdened(?) by the thought that i wouldn’t be able to paint beautiful subjects without expensive materials 🙈 😢 but you make me realize that we need to practice first then as time goes by and money allows (lol), we can upgrade our tools. thank you 🙏 you are such an inspiration 💕

I'm so glad you like the colours! My initial painting was more blue and when this one started drying off that's when I realised it's more purple but I don't mind the change haha

That's right! The supplies does not make the artist :) As long as it has colours, you can create paintings with it basically :D
