Frankie Laine performs a selection of his classic hits, including "High Noon," "Call of the Wild Goose" and "That's My Desire," in this TV appearance from 1981.
I had the absolute pleasure of being a friend of Frankie Laine, and he was a gentleman. He always recognised that his fans had placed him in his position. He helped me with a number of things. I miss him so much.
I miss him too. Anita Craighead was my mother-in-law and she lived with Frank in the 1990's until she passed away . I always enjoyed talking to him and seeing all of his photos in his home and hearing his stories. Really nice guy.
My brother in-law was a very dear friend of him John Stewart Marshall he use to go to his house in San Deago I think it was he also went to his funeral I think?
The sad passing of Frankie Laine left a huge void in the wonderful but now neglected songs of yesteryear. He had a unique style and an incomparable voice. He was a "One off" and is unforgettable.
My mum used to play all his songs and I grew up with it and now 40 years on I still listen and enjoy and love his music, much to the dismay of my friends and family. 😂
I listened to his records all the time growing up. Thanks to mom and dad. I played them, myself, too. I had the good fortune to meet Mr. Laine. What an exciting experience to see him perform twice. God bless him.

The ultimate 'cowboy' and 'western' singing voice, cattle drive, gunfights, villains, baddies, heros and horses, stirrups and big irons!
My father’s favorite
He rode a Blazing Saddle, he wore a shining star...
WE'LL BE TOGETHER AGAIN Which he and his music partner Carl Fischer wrote. It's a classic. He got Nat Cole to record it.

Yes, one of the first, called "Moments to Remember".
Listen to Frankie on Facebook at: Frankie Laine and Friends
Definitely a toupee. I saw him on What’s My Line from the late 50’s and his hairline was much more receding.
He didn't do Rawhide, nor the Blazing Saddles theme, but good show nonetheless.
Are you sure? czcams.com/video/DsbH96yUVUM/video.html
He sure did sing the originals!
Joshua is saying, not here did he sing those songs.
Where "Blazing Saddles"??
Was it that Frank Sinatra would have profesional jelous of jim ?? I heard that Sinatra was insecure deep inside, envious of good singers.
