I really love that line, cause if you're like me and try to say "so shouldnt we do something to make sure it stays that way instead of getting worse" you kinda start realising that there are things you can do, and stuff we have to do together.
I love when you do these type of raps, using a game as an excuse to just talk about real shit. They always come out incredible!

This is a perfect example of trying to get a message across through music, rather than just a speech. You have brought light to the enclosing darkness that will soon be upon us if we don’t make a change. You did a good job depicting how scary it really is and kept it in the lyrics. Another great piece of music you have created. Love it!

I would just like to thank you. I know you probably won't see this but I want to anyway. Every now and then I have breathing problems. about an hour ago That started happening. This song was what brought me back to a normal breathing pattern. So there's a chance that you just saved my life.

So, when I hear this song and compare it to your Humankind's one, I see an amazing paradox. We are great and marvelous because of what we do, we forge a better world with it. We are great and marvelous because of what we do, we destroy our world with it. But I love how there is a whole greater message in, I dare say, all of your songs combined: What we can do is great and marvelous. We can do so much more in the right direction, and we will if we are conscious about it.
You have inspired me to be a poet, because I too feel deeply and struggle to show it. And even this song with it's dirge-tone lyrics fills me with hope, if we can inspire each other to aspire for a better world we will.

This is so important and real. "Rising tides aren't quite so high when spied from skyscrapers, so we'll keep making money now and decide how to survive later" That hit hard and it really speaks volumes about humankind's hubris and corruption. Not only is it about climate change, but it also says a lot about how the very rich are the ones in power and they don't care about the poor who actually have to suffer from the rich's decisions, and the rich lack the perspective of what it's like to be underprivileged and so their lack of empathy causes them to think the problems of the world are less bad than they actually are, because they're comfortable in their penthouse with air conditioning and fancy food they can afford, so surely anyone complaining about rising temperatures and floods and food shortages is being a little dramatic right? /sar. This song is one of the best you've done recently because of how brutally important the message is. I'll be watching it again.
They seem to be under the impression they can escape to bunkers or space. When in reality if they destroy the planet that bad, the poor and middle class would probably murder them.

Oddly appropriate that this turned up on my feed today. Currently in the middle of a flood event with no end in sight. All we can do is watch the levels and pray that it goes down before the snow start to melt. Usually that's already happening by now but it's been cooler than previous years so various dams and weirs all along the rivers are trying to let out water so they're ready for the melt.
