3 MECHANICS DID NOT SPOT THIS OBVIOUS FAULT! | FORD FOCUS CRANK NO START | Life of a Mobile Mechanic

- Shall we call this video a 'quicky?' Haha! This is a very unusual day. A lot of people starts work early- apparently I don't!
**DISCLAIMER** THE RED WIRE WAS REPLACED WITH A THICKER GROUND WIRE! RED WIRE WAS ONLY USED FOR TESTING PURPOSES!
Ford Focus 2010 Crank No Start. I thought this was going to be an obvious fault but apparently not so. 1 RAC technician and 2 Mobile Technicians Diagnosed this vehicle before I arrived. Customer spent a total of £250 on call-outs and diagnostics that day before getting me out on the job. How he wished he called me out first- according to him. Anyway anyway, apologies for the short content. I was literally rushing as it was getting dark. We also scheduled in a Vauxhall Corsa Dogbone Mount Bracket replacement; you'll find this job mentioned in our previous linked below:
• WHY I DON'T USE CHEAP ...
Again, let's get some discussions going below as how 'poorly' I repaired the ford eh? ;) (I PROMISE IT WAS DONE PROPERLY T_T)
Please like, comment and subscribe to see more contents like this!

It takes a very special person to keep smiling the way you do while crawling under a car in the pouring rain 😂
It's real nice to see a couple of young guys so enthusiastic about their job.... Carry on doing a nice job for your customers and don't cut corners. I have gone through so many mechanics doing bodge jobs. Unfortunately i am too far away from you.😊
As an ex vehicle technician - I do not like anybody working on my car but me, because I don't trust that some random mechanic would do a good job. However - I would trust this young man to work on my car, because he doesn't underestimate the job, and is rightfully competent in his skills and abilities.
I can only assume you were born on a workshop floor, in overalls, and had a snap-on account from age 5 👍 I don't know how you do it lol.
I thought this was going to be one of those comments 😂
At age of 5 I was destroying my toys to put them back together again, if that counts? 😂
Unfortunately we weren’t that fortunate to have Snapons but my dad was in to his motorbikes with cheap tools, always tinkering with them. Coming back with different exhaust for them almost every month. Honda TMX 125 💯
I'm exactly the same as you. At 5 year's old I kept stripping down the motors on my scalextric car's and doubling the wire's up (much to my dad's disapproval😂) to make the motors rev more it worked apart from the fact they wouldn't stay on the track 😂
@@themarvelousvlog I think there's something going on here. When I was age 5 I was stripping my toys down and rebuilding them. My own dad was a mechanic, and was into motorbikes, but he died when I was 13 years old. I "helped" him restore an old 50cc step thru bike when I was a kid, and when he died it was left to me. Unfortunately my mother didn't want me having bikes so she SOLD the 50cc bike that I worked with my father to restore.. She sold it for peanuts. That bike meant the world to me and she sold it to some guy who didn't care about its history.
This is what set me off on a whole career of restoring old bikes. These days I have a very clean (restored by me) Honda VFR800fi, and a Japanese import Honda NT650J (Bros) (restored by me) my pair of favourite classic motorcycles.
I learned car repair through a 3 year apprenticeship, but mainly through messing with motorbikes. I have restored so many bikes, it's a passion that breeds skill.
When I watch you work my mind is blown at how you are so young, but so very mature and competent. You definitely have the right attitude for the job and you deserve to go a long way.
Good job young man. You're a credit to your parents, and a credit to yourself 👍
Best wishes from an old and semi worn out motor vehicle technician ❤
@davidrobert2007 sounds about the same as me me n my dad raced 50cc motorcycles and learned a lot on the way definitely the best day's of my life by far 👍
@@stephenbates8370 That is the way it should be. May God bless you and your father. I feel like it's the end of an era, like, nationally 😐.

Too many part changers not enough actual mechanics amd fault finders.these young lads put alot of experianced skilled mechanics to shame.
Please get rid of the music going on behind your conversation. It is annoying and makes it hard to understand what you are saying often.
