Essikado is a Ghanaian town in the Western region. It's 12 kilometers from Takoradi's center[1] and 3 minutes from Sekondi. The capital of the Western region. It is mostly used as a dormitory town for various workers who work in and around the regional capital. The town is located in Ghana's Essikado-Ketan constituency. The MP for the Area is Hon Joe Ghartey.
Nana Kobina Nketsia V is the Essikado's Paramount Chief (Omanhen) (British Sekondi). Traditional Area in Ghana's Western Region.
Boundaries
The town is flanked on the east by Ngyiresia, on the west by Ketan, on the north by Kojokrom, and on the south by the Gulf of Guinea and Sekondi.
Places to Visit
One of the main health care facilities in the Takoradi Metropolis is the Essikado Hospital. The medical center provides a wide range of services.
