Everyone: The course is super different and has crazy new features!
Emil: Its the fucking same.
I love the direction semenuk has pushed the sport towards. So excited for tomorrow
Spicy sphere to change things up. Stoked for Joyride 22 ✌️
Emil’s right. It’s just the bowl. Still super rad!!!
Max does have a gooood point, this balances things out as most people (except Semenuk) don't train on satellite dishes.. etc
So it's alot about seeing how far these guys can push these features from just a few days of training on them.
Tbh it makes it more exciting since the sport has been pushed a lot towards acrobatics and throwing in as many barspins before and after tricks as possible.
No shade though, it's all good stuff and barspins are still kewl. 🤠
We'll just have to see how the judges score it I guess, maybe the banger tricks on the big jumps still will count more than a smexy move on the new stuff...
i would say it is more than just barspins jammed in between tricks. There are tech riders like Emil and Max and then big trick riders like Nicholi and Dawid Godziek. Then guys like Huppert and Torquato who just pull random new tricks each time.
I am all for adding different courses with cooler features. Those boys do amazing stuff on bikes and we need to see more of it!
Emil has full elite athlete mentality- he’s realistically got the most to lose with any changes and he’s so calm and measured in his response
Embrace Change! Totally exciting to see organizers taking their turn at changing the game. What a brilliant test for the steezy riders. I'm all in!
1:37 - That was smooth as fuuuuuck
7:59 I bet Emil gonna downside this one or tailwhip in contest
The change is exactly what’s needed to keep slopestlye fresh. I’m way more excited to see the competition!
The problem is that big tricks still happen on big straight trick jumps. Those are always the moneymaker. Back in the day every slope course had wall rides (and skinnies and stuff.) More often than not the riders would skip them or just straight jump the in and out so they could do a bigger trick. These tech features are awesome and add a ton of style……if the riders actually use them/it makes sense to use them. I bet a few guys just use this as a big hip. Also: I wonder how much Trey Jones/Swampfest inspiration went into this.
The new bowl feature lookin rad
This year's edition is gonna be EPIC! The course looks sick. Stoked!
Max definitely has the right mentality about it!!
Love the Salad Bowl!
Stoked for this event
Your energy either goes into adapting & figuring out how best to use the environment you're in, or it goes into whining about it. It either goes into trying to win, or accepting loss. This is what separates men from boys. Pros from bros. Versatility. Adaptability. The words from the guy who spoke 1st who always crashes & never podiums vs. the words from the guy who spoke last who always wins. That's the diff.
This course is going to shake things up. I expect an exciting podium.
amazing i love riding slopestyle!!!
Hit the satellite bowl straight up and do a flair out of the top. Would that be possible?
Gonna be rad! 🤙
Paul Couderc is a real one
3:21 SHAKA BRAHHHH!!
This course seem longer than most slopestyle courses!? So sick!
FLAIR THE BOWL
I've just built a Trek Ticket S and finding it really hard to adapt 🤔 tips?
Erik fedko looks like erling haarland on 2 wheels
This is what its all about.
I think there should be a formula or a rough idea of how many jumps there should be that are usual trick jumps and then have 2 3rds of the All the jumps as wildcard jumps that are different types of features at every event well for the crankworx series anyway
Can I edit vids or prod music for your channels? Thanks
Lemoine looks like he is riding bowl all day every day 😳
I think its because he has a lot of skatepatk experience so that helps
I have some sort of feeling there will be a few crashes this year.
Why don't they run ads? I'm not complaining just curious
i like that they added something new, but i dont know if the disk is it, it feels like they just kinda went and built it without testing too much, things like size and what angle they should do etc. plus, that satilite was isnpired by the realm mtb eddit right? i personaly dont think a lot of eddit features make great comp features, you can try unlimited amount of times for one specific trick in a eddit, but in comp with limited practice time, risking a lot if you get injured, and only getting to try your trick for real in 2 tries is very tricky (pun intended), and these things are often made with 1-2 tricks in mind for the eddit, not a lot of veriety.
i would love to just see more and more extreme alterations of classic features, a hip thats like a full 70 degrees, or a half pipe where you land behind the landing, a super steep and high step up, or several smaller lines next to each other that allow you to transfer inbetween etc
Bunny’s
Ooh the conflict between making a video with Emil in it, and him saying the wrong things.
si capisce subito chi è italiano 🥲🤍
3rd
its like a BMX contest... you actually have to figure out how to ride a course instead of the old show up and shred.
PEEP "shit" WTF where u live? pink pony range?

"tHe BoWl iS tHe OnLy ThInG tHaTs DiFfErEnT."
