So eloquently stated...' a gentleman; a scholar; and a servant of the people...' Go, Larry Reni Thomas! It takes so much courage to give ourselves credit and homage as scholars. Keep the history! Keep telling our wonderful stories -- accurately and engagingly!

I was not familiar with him until I saw “I called him Morgan “ now I can’t get enough of his music. I also have more appreciation for Wayne Shorter and other various artist since seeing the film. Shout out to Larry for making the story.

It's a shame that more people in the world aren't aware of the greatest art form of all. Lee Morgan was one of the most passionate trumpet players of his time and played with so much fire and verocity that few ever could compare to his unique style. What's also is a shame is that there are hardly any videos or biographies out there about this great musician and the accomplishments he made is such an early age. Lee's music will inspire future generations young horn players for ever .

What an amazing story. I've watched it three times now. An amazing talent. I wish I would have heard him play in person.

I watched it so many times. I am reading Larry Reni Thomas' book, 'The Lady Who Shot Lee Morgan.' It is total brilliance.

The story may be told, but the legend will never fade. Rest in peace my brother. You left more of a legacy in your brief lifetime, than most cats with three decades more longevity. Somehow, the world is a better place because of it! You truly were the Prince of Blue Note. 👑🎺
