What a pity that there isn't app for iOS users... Really grateful for your video! Everything you said in it was useful for me :) I'm a new subscriber to your channel!
Finally a video talking about it!! Thank you so much Just one question, how did you pair it with the led tube? I can't manage to do it . The app does not find the device ( both phone and led tube have bt ON) Thanks in advance!
Awesome review! Question about the special effects options- can I program the device to automatically shift to a specific effect of my choosing when powering it on (or via saved preset), or do I have to shift through each setting manually until I get to the one I want? I'd like to use this for a live performance and would want the light to go into an effect preset when manually powered on.
You sure can. I just grabbed it and tested it. I put in on the fireworks effect at 50% brightness then I did a short single press of the power button. You will see a little arrow appear (kind of like a download icon) and then powered off the light. When I powered it back on it went back to that exact setting.
@@giacomocagnetti2529 Funny you mention that. I was considering picking one up but I just got my hands on the Yongnuo YN360 Mini which is very similar to the MT1 (more tube light vs wand) but a little smaller so I will be doing a video soon of that one.
Hi! Gerald, I recently adquired the MT1 and I cant get it to connect to my android phone. It will appear in my bluetooth list but it wont scan it on the app. Any tips? Thanks!
Honestly this light is still going strong. I have not had any issue with cracking. It is still by far my favorite smaller tube light. If you haven't checked out my video on their larger ST25 tube light you should. Soon we'll makes some pretty impressive lights in my opinion.
Great review! this is something I'm considering buying, but it doesn't have an eggcrate like Nanlite, is there any alternative ?
Cinefoil would work great for a similar purpose!
A fantastic light at a fantastic price! Tks!
Couldn't agree more! Pretty much has become my go to light for a lot of product work.

Thanks so much for subbing, David! I have a contact over at Soonwell so I'll ask about the IOS app and let you know what I hear.
iOS APP will be available soon. :)
@@derekpang4578 Thanks so much, Derek!
it is available now
After two hour of use the light just don't want to turn off. All the buttons are not responding. Now i have 18 hours of "party effect".

The same happens to me :(
If I find myself a way of doing it I'll let you know

@@GeraldBertramPhotography THANK YOU!
Wanna treads RGB?! Lol I love these lights. Too bad I JUST bought some lesser RGB wand lights. These are dope!
I was SUPER impressed with these. For sure my favorite RGB light right now.
@@GeraldBertramPhotography did you test also the Yongnuo YN360 III? It would be nice to see a comparison...

@@GeraldBertramPhotography the only disappointing thing is that it could be not powered by AC... isn't it? Only with internal batteries...
@@giacomocagnetti2529 I've been running all these lights for multi hour shoots by just plugging them into a USB power bank.

I wish I could be more help but I actually don't have the MT1 anymore as I sold it to a friend so I can't text the connectivity to android now. Sorry!
Hows this light holding up? Seems, to be the best small tube light feature wise. I read a review though saying it cracks when the 1/4 mount is
