- Join me for a New Year 30 minute full body Standing Pilates workout. This session will burn fat, give you a full body stretch and get you moving and feeling great. It is a 30 minute workout to kickstart the year to get you back to feeling great with a boost to your metabolism. This is Part One of a New Year fitness session. Part two will be a pilates core workout focusing on all the core and abdominal muscles to tackle the tummy and waistline post Christmas! Link here to go to that one:

Day 2 of 1/2024 challenge, As I'm healing, the bend over to the left was a little challenge feeling tingleing on the bending to left, but this felt GREAT!!! THANK YOU SWEETHEART, AHHHH! PS, I was able to do a the backward knee lift holding with my hand with help from my bed and chair YAYYYYYY!

Oh Rachel, I've been on my sofa or in front of a plate full of food since before Xmas without any workouts and I was dreading having to move my body again.....thank you for this absolutely PERFECT post-holiday workout which is a gentle yet meaningfully physically engaging way to get the body back into movement! Aww Rachel! I am so disappointed! We had a snow storm today (8 inches, and temps around -7 c.). I had power outages and no internet or phone all day. (Yesterday was spring-like weather. Who knew snow would stick so fast with a warm ground?) Shoveling snow off steps and sidewalks was not what I had planned for my exercise today. I am so sad to have missed the live, and I have been super grumpy. You know how much I love these live sessions for us across the pond. Once I warm up, I will look forward to doing this video. Hope your New Year had a better start than mine!

I always find the exercises on the toes are difficult for me. Love your videos. I do many of them even though as a 78 woman from the USA I can not do all your moves.
I like your part I full body workout.

I did every exercise although not all the repeats on some as I have a damaged right ankle and foot and balancing and some angles are near impossible for me... I also hold onto a chair at times to help as well.
I am trying not to allow the diffuculty of some of the moves tp deter me from continuing to do these exercises every day.

Well done and that's perfect. Don't be detered because as you can see, you can do most of it. No one is perfect, we all have our barriers/challenges and this 30 days playlist is about allowing ourselves the chance to grow without getting hung up on what may be too challenging. Yoy're doing your best and that is ALL that matters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤗
Happy New Year Rachel. I love your Pilates exercises and wish I were as supple and able as you. I am well over 80 and do go to Pilates classes with a lovely young woman who tries to keep this older body in reasonable working order - she is great fun and so caring. Over this long Covid period I have put on a lot of weight (a roll of unwanted fat!!) between the breasts and the tummy button. Please can you advise me how to lose this and I will try and reduce my delicious wine consumption ! Thank you so much.

I've got rheumatics arthritis in my knees and wrists. this means that I can't do exercises where you have to kneel or lean on the wrists. i would love it when you show exercises to show modifications or alternatives when you show exercises where you have to kneel or lean on your wrists.
