The Blue Collar Comedy Tour is absolutely worth a watch, all four of the guys together riffing and telling stories is an absolute gem of stand-up. Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Larry The Cable Guy.

Ron White is so good, the blokes have already done a bit of Ron, but I’d love to see more!
I really like how they all have their own unique style too, but are all also in the same vein enough that having them on a tour together makes total sense.
during a roast of jeff foxworthy someone said "You've become the most successful comedian of all time, and you did it all without swearing or telling overtly dirty jokes....fuck you for ruining it for the rest of us."

Bill Engvall is a good one to react too, especially his "here's your sign" routine.
My favorite bill routine was "15 degrees off cool" because apparently he and I are very similar in our thinking processes.

Jeff and Bill Engvall both. There's one joke of Bills that had me ROLLING it was his story about flying with the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels or whatever it was.

Same with Jim Gaffigan, also known for not swearing, sort of Jeff's contemporary, as Jim was burgeoning his career in the early/mid 1990's, while Jeff was already a name by that time. Office Blokes have already been reacting to Jim.
I like that all 4 of the guys from the blue collar tour were enough similar that it made sense that they were in the troop together but also unique enough that they all had their own style and enough to stand on their own.
Blue Collar Comedy Tour was all four of them together and are probably some of the best stuff all of them did. They play off each other very well.
Bill Engvall and Ron White were the other 2... Whole show was pretty clean... Primetime TV... Ron is the only edgy one in the bunch...

@@coyotelong4349 My lovely wife, not knowing who's who, got me a Larry the Cable Guy "Christmas Special" DVD. Watched it once then "accidentally" cracked it getting it out of the player. Most awful crap. Jeff and Bill are cleanest; Ron is raunchy without being hideous; Larry is the "bluest."

Jeff hosted the original version of the TV gameshow "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" (The UK version started 8 months later and was named "Are You Smarter Than a 10 Year-old?" with Noel Edmonds hosting the primetime show and Damien Williams hosting the daytime show)
I met Jeff in Hamilton, GA at a restaurant. We found out he was there, and my dad took me up to say hello. I asked for an autograph, and my mom was looking for something to write with and on. The waitress gave us a paper menu, and he signed it for me. He is just as nice as you’d think.
Jeff and his family lived next to my mother when they briefly lived in Knoxville. We got to meet Jeff, Larry, and Bill backstage but Ron White had already left.
Now review Greg Giraldo on the Jeff Foxworthy roast and Larry the Cable Guy roast.
One of my favorite lines, at dentist for his annual check up, was asked, when last time he flossed. Answer, "you did it!"
This was great. I remember going to my in-laws house and seeing the seashell soaps and seashells. Hilarious!

I am shocked they have no idea who Foxworthy or Larry are. Foxworthy has always been a name from all the stuff he does on TV and after the Blue Collar tour Larry was the #1 comedian in the US for like 5-10 years, if I recall he sold out football stadiums and arenas like 3 days a week for over a year or something, 30k-50k people at each show.

@@lazyblazer no offense to Ron but I think you're underestimating Foxworthy's talent and skill with a crowd. And Larry the Cable Guy doesn't even have an accent and his entire act is an impression of his friends. That's not to undermine Ron's talent. Far be it from me to bad mouth Ron White. On the contrary, Ron is a distant cousin of mine and I would never say a negative thing about him but the guys in the BCC group were all very talented.
His first 3 albums are amazing.

Jeff did a TV show 'Are you Smarter than a 5th grader?' Many of the questions were weighted to favor the kids in a game show format. BUT . . . Many of the adult contestants didn't do so well on the stuff they should have known. It was very funny.

It was blue collar tour. It was Jeff, Larry, Bill Engvall and Ron White. There are vids of a guy named Greg Giraldo RIP who was maybe the best roaster of all time. You can find vids of him roasting Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy and a bunch of others. Greg was just the best.

Jeff Foxworthy was really popular in the early 90's. But after around 2000 and on his fame dropped considerably.
Ron White is one of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour members. You need to watch the "Ron White - I Got Thrown Out of a Bar" video! He's my favorite of the group.

You guy's should react to Ron White, and Larry The Cable Guy.they are both very funny. A few years back Larry came into my local watering hole and ended up hanging out with my friends and I. He was such a good dude he showed us pictures of his kids and we talked about football. He's a Nebraska Corn Husker fan and we live in Minnesota and play in the same division. What you see on TV is not the real Larry.

Foxworthy is the best selling comedian ever. I personally do not care for him but he has sold more albums than any 3 comedians you can name combined. Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Dice yep. Cosby, Carlin, Dangerfield yep. Any three.

Foxworthy when he was at the top of his game was legitimately like the white Bill Cosby. He had albums, a sitcom, multiple specials with both himself solo and with the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, he sponsored restaurants and products, and even hosted a game show (Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader).
I hope he wasn't exactly like the white Bill Cosby cause well you know what Cosby did.

Jeff is a really family friendly comic, and all things considered he's actually pretty funny. Out of the Blue Collar Comedy guys I'd say Ron White is the funniest, then its a toss up between Bill and Jeff, and then Larry the Cable Guy. Larry is alright, he has a few really funny jokes, but a lot of his schtick gets kinda old for me but he's still worth a look too.

There were four guys of the blue collar comedy tour. Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy, and Ron White. IMO, White is hysterical, Foxworthy and Engvall are pretty good, and Larry the Cable guy is just not funny.
Probably not a better "clean" comic.
Foxworthy has a net worth of $120 million. Not bad for a bunch of hillbilly jokes.
