- Join us for an epic Vietnamese street food tour here in Quy Nhon City, South Central Vietnam 🇻🇳
The Bình dinh province of Vietnam is home to loads of delicious street foods and today we went on a mission to eat as much as we could!
We only managed to spend about $5 each for this full day of eating which is incredible for the quality and freshness of the food.
Quy Nhon is a great city for food let me tell you 🇻🇳

Which province has the best food in Vietnam? 🇻🇳
Huế, Sài Gòn, Quy Nhơn, Phú Yên, Quảng Nam - Đà Nẵng...
@@aren1998 Good choices
Bánh bèo Quy Nhơn rất ngon
Hanoi obviously 😁😁
An Giang in the western part of Vietnam
I'm a huge fan of banh xeo wrapped in a roll. I don't think eating wrapped rolls dipped in whatever sauces will ever get boring. It's always just so yummy.
All time classic
Yes Banh Xeo(Bánh Xèo) is one of the best foods in Quy Nhon You also should try Banh Beo( Bánh Bèo) too ❤❤❤
😊😊 Great video, I will go there on the 29th.....look forward to trying your suggestions 😊 Take Care !
The irony of Vietnam vs the US is that freshly cooked food using locally grown ingredients cost way less than the processed food whereas here in the US, these hand made food from freshly delivered daily ingredients cost a lot. The other thing I love about eating in VN is that you can be yourself, talk and chat and not have to keep hush hush with a stiff collar type of environment where it can be uncomfortable you can't be yourself.
I think Gordon Ramsey said it best "the Vietnamese don't realize how they have such great food at such a great price".
You know it my friend. Vietnam is the best everyone is a character and has personality, in the west people are so boring and quiet
@@EllisWR ❤❤❤
Quy Nhơn đồ ăn vừa rẻ vừa ngon và rất phong phú.
Exactly so good
I'm from Quy Nhuong, I love the fact that you're a white boy, and you're so open minded and adventurous. ❤
Really appreciate your comment 🙏
oh what the beautiful place on earth for the foodie heaven, another great video as usual thanks mate
Yes 🇻🇳
Love the way you guys enjoy food in less-popular area in Viet Nam and your interaction with local people here, so nice and friendly ❤❤ Welcome to Viet Nam once again
Really appreciate you watching thankyou 🙏🇻🇳
Damn, your Vietnamese getting great now.
Thanks my friend only little 🙏
🥖📞🏊♂️ can confirm the bánh mi Loan enjoyed the swim
Idiot
Glad you're having good time here keep it up!❤❤❤
Appreciate you 🙏
You guys picked up the language pretty good especially the numbers and food related vocabulary, I say better than some expats living for years in Vietnam. Maybe the British accent or something but the Vietnamese pronunciation is spot on for certain words.
Only in places like this you know the true cost of food. In big cities or downtown centers food prices always inflated with transports and rents. 20yrs ago Com Tam was 10k, the special one was 15k ....when I went to Can Tho a city in the mekong, Com Tam was 4k I was so shocked assuming they were calculated wrong. Also 20yrs ago, che was 3k, in Binh Duong a city near Saigon was only 1k for che...
We just try to listen and learn little bits! It's embarrassing that people move to Vietnam and can't even be bothered to learn the language, quite disrespectful actually
Ive been busy these last 3 weeks and havent had a chance to catch up on all your new uploads! Theres been heaps also! This was a great video! So much interesting and tasty looking food. That second last one looked amazing!
Mate don't worry!
Street food tour heaven. Loved it. Alicia is hilarious. You try everything, it's great to watch.
Shes quite funny isn't she hahah thanks Carol
You guys are incredible! Eating the same food as the locals and not turning up your nose at anything. Both so easy going ❤❤ As I know the flavour profiles, I know exactly how it tastes when you describe it. I just love how you try everything!
The banh beo lady was saying the chilli mix was chilli and lemon grass and you have it with the soy sauce. Have you tried a blended fruit shake with all your fave fruits? You have to try jackfruit, mango, custard apple and lychee together!
Durian is heaven and I am told the best ones are Malaysian durian, then Thailand and then Vietnam. It's just more fragrant and creamy in taste. I remember buying a fresh one for my Mum at Tet (Vietnamese New Year) in Sydney and it was AU$55 a kilo! Almost £30 a kilo!
You chose thap cam! Yay! 😂😂😂 You seriously can't go wrong. Op La means fried eggs sunny side up if you choose that next time 😊 You will have to try Bo Ne for breakfast soon. Are you heading down south? My mum is from Kien Giang (Rach Gia) which is rural countryside in the south. I don't think I have even tried all the food that you both have there! There is just so so much to try.
My local Vietnamese resturant in Sydney does yummy food so I stick to my favourites 😂😂 and when I don't feel like cooking on the weekends, I go to Mum's house to eat 😂😂😂
Thanks for sharing and showing us everything you are both eating! Xx
Again your comments are the best! Yes we love Durian and Malaysian is number 1! Sooo expensive outside Asia! We will try that shake sounds so good, we've been addicted to the avocado shakes recently can't stop.
@@EllisWR The fruit shake is called trai cay sinh to. Just ask if you see any fruit at drink places!
Also, Alicia is too cute! 😍 I absolutely loved her little bread joke 😂😂😂 She understands Vietnamese so well!! 🩷🩷
You know, it's your willingness to just get in there and try it all. I love that so much 🩷🩷
She's happy you enjoyed it haha thanks Erica!
We Vietnamese people welcome foreign guests like you. You have visited our country and I hope that you will enjoy and have fun with your trip to Vietnam. Although Vietnam is a quite small country, there are still simple and simple things when you come here and those can be unforgettable things when you come to our country!!
We love Vietnam very much and can't wait to return again 🇻🇳❤️
Love that u love Vietnam. Enjoy the rest of your stay.
Cheers for watching thankyou my friend

Toàn món ngon, mình mê mấy món này lắm
Thanks for watching good food here!
What a brilliant journey ❤
Thanks very much
Proper durian, good job bro, that looked ripe af lol
Was sooooo good
In the South the woven thin noodles ( bánh hỏi ) are eaten with roasted pork . Nice of you to support street vendors , some of them get up very early in the morning in order to cook and set up their business . Aunties sellers often watch customers eat because they are proud of their food .
Yeah they start at like 4am so hard working we love to support these people
Yo mate, I love your positive energy, this is such a great video. I just showed up in this town. It's super useful that you put the map points as well
Cheers mate. Always throw locations in cos it does my head in when people don't tell you where stuff is aha. Enjoy your time there any questions fire away 🙏
@@EllisWR yeah I was trying to figure it out from the surrounding building for a while... And was like. No no turn ur camera a bit more ha
@@EllisWR If there's anything else you recommend here, let me know. Also any big cafes for working on the laptop with a nice view or something
@@DigitalSamTV There's loads of nice places nearby, nhon Hai village, xuan van mountain, nui vung Chua mountain. Food wise also loads everywhere the food in Quy Nhon is pretty good.
For cafes I can't help cos we worked in our home we stayed at then went to streetside coffee shops to chill which are everywhere but hot and half outdoor so not ideal to work maybe.
@@EllisWR thanks mate appreciate it. Ur still in Vietnam?
Kem bo sau Rieng looks delicious. Thanks for the google map links .
Always pin for people 🙏
banh loc, banh beo, banh uoc, banh it( banh it is a type of sticky rice wrapped it in prawn paved them under the banana leaf)
banh nam ( wrapped in banana leaf)
Great vid. Wolly jumper texture 🤣
That Banh Mi Loan looks good!
Was proper delicious mate
Okay, that grandma made eating banh xeo easy for everyone! She just makes one big spring roll out of two banh xeo and you're good to go. I love it! 😂 You're very brave with the communal tea, but hey, if it's hot, and I'm thirsty, I may brave it, too. Or carry my own cup. The banh beo looked great. I always love when they are presented in the tiny dishes like that. That banh mi place seems to be banh mi chao, but not on a sizzling plate. And that dessert...oooh!!! I'd die for that as I LOVE durian and the combo with the avocado ice cream and coconut sounds like heaven to me.
Yeah we don't worry about anything atall! The food here was really good honestly some cool dishes! Thanks for watching 🙏
Wow! I'm Viet Kieu, very familiar with our cuisine, but have never been to Qui Nhon. That deconstructed hot bánh mì dish is not something I've ever eaten...not bò kho, something else. Very interesting! Thank you for the video. You're a lovely couple and have earned a new subscriber.
Yes it was interesting you should try! Thanks we really appreciate it 🙏
You should try Durian Che it’s awesome 🍻🍻👍👍
Sounds like heaven
These food at this stall
banh beo …
and savouries wrapped in bananas leaves is brilliant
Why? Requires time and effort put in
Tuyệt vời ❤❤❤❤
🙏❤️
Damnnn, you are understanding she said mangos and chili too.
Yeah I understand very little!!
if i remember correctly durian seeds and jackfruit seeds can be boiled and eaten too.
Yeah they are good!
I like you because you came to Vietnam to experience it. I also want you to go to the west of An Giang to experience specialties such as Long Xuyen broken rice, Chau Doc fish vermicelli and other delicious dishes of Long Xuyen, An Giang.
no no haha
One day
hay quá
Yes my friend
thank you
🙏🙏
Dude you got guts. I wouldn’t drink that communal tea😂
Ahah nothing to worry about
You should walk into one of the slaughterhouses in any modern world country or any fastfood kitchen restaurant. As a student i worked in a industrial bakery in my hometown ( Netherlands) one of my coworkers always picking his nose because the flour made it itchy and especially after the lunchbreak we ran into mice everywhere. One of the staff members in a hcmc restaurant told me they had no mice in the dining area but they had one living in the kitchen!!
@@edgoewie2132 We worry about nothing, eat street food only everyday no problems. Only have good times
Miss my hometown
Beautiful place!

I like the dessert: durian, avocado and cream

Just went for the ban beo and showed her in ur video, she was laughing away... and got a selfie with her.
There's a really good banh cuon spot here - goo.gl/maps/WzMRNtVDgh1BwQkJ9
If you go show the lady my other quy nhon video aha she is really nice!
Also the video I made at night time, on that corner there is lots of good food in the evening, the bun thit nuong place is really good then next to it there's also a little indoor bun thit nuong shop that is fantastic
2 bạn nhớ ăn cơm tấm món ăn truyền thống của Việt Nam nha. Chúc 2 bạn ngoan miệng ❤❤
We love com tam

Good morning today were going to do a little bit of a food tour!!!! Aint that what you do 😂😂😂 atleast you show the proper life of the area unlike them who we wont name who was just bragging about spending 3k for a day ill rather watch the real life people not the fancy resorts you can go to keep it up........ P.S how many videos would 3k make 😂😂😂
Ahaha sorry when we're in Vietnam it's just a massive food fest. Yeah we're just easy going normal people! Bloody hell 3k I could live for 10 months ahah
@EllisWR yes that's what I thought your channel is real not made up for view's (ME) wish you would show more about the places you visit as I'll never get to go there but hell I would love to try the food in uk I know it's not the same
@@Jason-vx1xe What sorta stuff you wanna see? Genuinely depends on the country like in Thailand were always off on missions etc
@EllisWR that's the type walking around the place I know you stay out of the tourist places an I would be the same carnt really say more culture places that u won't usually see just don't go into places that ain't safe as I said I'll never get to see health problems 1 big one I carnt fly lol
Ellis you inspire us to eat more foods like both of you when we travel Asia for a few year in 38 days 😝I’ve found before after a few weeks I struggle with my belly. Do you get ill a lot with all the foods you eat?
Hey cheers for watching! To tell you the truth we don't have any problems and we eat 100% street food, maybe your body just adjusts after a little bit! Don't be afraid eat everything that looks good haha.
@@EllisWR thank you, how long are you in Vietnam for?
🙏Good afternoon Ellis ..yummy🤤🤤🥘🍲🍛 🌮🥪🍴🍺🍺😋❤❤
Hey how are you!
The green stuff is make by rice flour, and chewing ball that is tapioca flour with mung beans inside filling.

Yep
The vibrant atmosphere of Quy Nhon's street food stalls was captivating! It looked like you had such a fun and authentic experience. What are some of the best places to experience Quy Nhon's street food culture? Are there any specific neighborhoods or markets known for their delicious offerings?
We had a lovely time! There is literally food everywhere as always in Vietnam! Every street corner or alleyway!
Just a little tip when you are talking to the older in Vietnam call them CO and xung con is more respect and never say to them toi muon, it like in Britain you say can I order this , in Vietnam you say Co or Bac cho con mot bat pho that the way to respect older in Vietnam and respect other no matter where we come from.
Thanks I appreciate it we have lots to learn I apologise!
@EllisWR no need for apology , I am 60 y years young and still learning we never stop learning, thank you for answering my messages I do hope you have a good time in Vietnam.

There is also banh hoi thit Nuong in the south. Same as bun thit nuong but the vermicelli noodle is replaced with banh hoi, and you roll it with leafy lettuce and dip in fish sauce. I have never seen or eaten that style of banh hoi that you had.
Ooo that sounds delicious. This style is unique to Bình dinh province
Bánh nhỏ là bánh xèo Miiền Trung, còn bánh xèo lớn bạn ăn ở Sài Gòn là bánh xèo Miiền Tây. Bánh xèo lớn đó bạn về Miền Tây ăn thì rất OK...
