      John I've been to so many SAINT shows it's not even funny. Gonzo dated a girl that I would stand up, when ever saint played. Which in the 80's was alot and often. There's an energy that JOHN BUSH creates. He comands the audience. You will never see a show where the fans are so in tune with the band.... where everybody in that room is there 100%. Singing to every word. I took my friends 28 year old to see them. Cause all he knew was MAIDEN and OZZY. He came away an ARMORED SAINT fan..... Long live PRICHARD! RIP

    Totally true. He was asked to join Metallica back in the days, declined. With Anthrax, yes, they headed another direction, but not only his fault. When asked to rejoin Anthrax he didn't accept the offer because of himself. He knows what he can offer and deliver and what not. Because of age and style of his performance he can't tour that much, would affect performance. Respect the guy for putting personal beliefs and quality first not money.

    @zver711 It's actually not a political song at all.It's about a person determining his own path and not listening to those who would impose their set of beliefs upon you.The boxer represents a man struggling to free himself from the ideas being set forth by organized religions. He punches out a Priest(Christian) Rabbi(Jews) and an Iman(Muslim) as a way of saying no to their beliefs. Not subtle at all but a good point of view.

    the matter is not which singer is the best , but which one fit better to which band ? in my opinion joey belladona fits perfectly to the second anthrax era as neil turbin was the best for their early much heavier sound , aand s john bush fits perfectly to their third most alternative period !!!

    In my opinion these people in no particular order are the best singers of all time. 1. Rob Halford. 2. Ian Gillian 3. Ronnie James Dio 4. Paul Stanley 5. John Bush. Of all the people I just named, Bush has got to be the most underrated, yet the man has one of the most timeless singing voices in the history of rock. His voice sounds as timeless today as it did in 1984.

    @The7HellRider7 i know they're very talented musicians, so many bands in the metal world are talented musicians, i like progressive music, but i dont like wen a band incorporates too much of it in their metal, anyways im sure u get wat i mean, i was rly surprised wen Angel came out, i didnt expect it to b as kickass as it was, i mean i personally prefer the older Priest from the 70s up till defenders but Angel is the best album they've done since Painkiller, good stuff

    @laithlaith91 youre probably right about that, i just know a few songs from bodom that i thought had some good riffs like every time i die follow the reaper and banned from heaven. like i said i dont really know much death metal, but yeah whitesnake is pretty much quiting material in my books, i feel like i have to quit guitar everytime doug aldrich or reb beach shreds, then coverdales sick vocals just finish me off.

  • @The7HellRider7
    @The7HellRider7 Před 13 lety

    @laithlaith91 you're right they have gone very progressive, but progressive music is very hard to compose and play, which shows what talented musicians they are, along with the lyrics they write and live performance makes for a kickass band. nostradamus was different for priest but that album is a good representation of what great musicians priest are. but yeah angel of retribution is a sick album and more true to the metal that priest usually hammers out.
