Magic in itself is something that intrigues me in potters world. However what I am the most intrigued by are two different things: the first is obviously the creatures COUGH COUGH DRAGONS COUGH COUGH!!, and second which some might find odd is the wands. How do they function? Why does the wand choose the wizard/ witch? Why is it hard if not near impossible to replace a wizards wand? I've asked this questions and more yet no answers are found...
the way I see it, the animal string (unicorn, dragon, phoenix) is the magic that helps strengthen a wizards magical core the way a magnet would work on metal (the stronger the magnet, the more effective it is). The wood is like a binder, or maybe it helps amplify and focus the magic And I think that because of the fact that these pieces are coming from magical creatures that have a conscious of their own, it stands to reason why the wand would have some kind of connection or conscious to 'choose' a wizard that hasn't been defeated in battle (strange theory I know XD)

wii1245 No thanks needed friend. And may I say that I kinda like the idea of an ice wand myself, or maybe a glass wand. It would certainly be cool to be able to see the core inside.
