Hey!!!! Who is screaming hello at about 19:18 and you can kinda still here them after I find strange you don't mention it because I know you you must of heard them
@@teressabacklin2840 maybe people outside, because where the location is its slap bang in the centre, so there for you'll hear a lot of external noise but think or feel that it's coming from inside the building, same as occasionally you can hear lots of glass bottles being thrown, but that's from the pubs/clubs emptying them into big recycling garbage bins. Will have a listen again though but most definitly coming from outside, if you look at another video of matt an Andy, think it's called Liverpool fruit exchange, they was in this big wooden room with wooden benches going upwards like at a football stadium yet you could hear music clear as day, that's because the music travelled through the walls of the venue that was next door to their location. Remember that this building is open to the elements all over the place so there is a ton of sound contamination. You've got dripping water which is often mistaken for voices, holes that allow wind gusts to come whistling through, pigeon-y bastards are all over and there are probably other birds (such as the non-bastard pigeons😉) and animals as well. Then there are all the people we see walking through the streets and it's near a train station. I believe the the timestamp around 19:46 is a dog barking. The first one that a few people commented on, 19:15 or 19:16, is most likely someone outside. (I guess it could be security also, but I don't recall the guys mentioning that security was something they needed to look out for.)
@@kassiopiajudkins2722 I get that. I'm not discounting the fact that it could have been outside noise. The only reason I said anything is because of we heard it, you would think they would have and Matt usually shits himself when he thinks there's someone else in the building.
Nice to see you back in my city again. I watched a few films in that cinema. The building that is lit up blue and yellow is St. George's Hall. We used to have our school prizegivings there 😀 Matt's face was a picture of horror when the ladder moved!
I bet that cinema was amazing back in the day, it reminded me of another cinema, can't remember the name, odeon is a old cinema brand and it was something like that, only a few existed so not a big chain of companies, but also looked amazing
You where in the best city. The lit up tower used to be a revolving restaurant, but fell into disrepair only a few yrs after it opened. The architecture in the city is class
Art deco that's the style!!! Took me most of the episode to figure it out hahaha
wow what an amazing building with all the art deco features and details, such a shame its been neglected, can imagine what it was like years ago. its my favourite period of architecture.
Beautiful old cinema, so sad to see it deteriorating. The poster, The Hunt is On, refers to the film Mouse Hunt which was released late 90s and stared Lee Evans. Love your explores....long may they carry on !!

Apparently that place was shut in 98 and reopened in 2016 just for an exhibition space also in 2016 there were plans for an 11million pound restoration to turn it into a music venue I do wish something was done with the place before the deterioration into disrepair because its a beautiful building once again a fantastic explore from you both the hunt is on might be from mousetrap film 🎥 GREAT VIDEO GUYS 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Post at the bottom of the stairs is a Box Newel Post and the bits below the balustrade (handrail going up with the stairs) are called balusters.
Although, as they're not regular verticle posts, I'm not sure again if they'd be classed as that or not

Straw is a good building material, I lived in a house built in 1994, that had straw in the internal walls for insulation.

Could the movie with the slogan "The hunt is on!" be Mouse hunt with Lee Evans in it? What a wonderful place and it looks like Art Deco that kind of look. When was that Theatre open? Its lovely though but left to rot like our local cinema and it gets me mad because the councils leave them to rack and ruin .. Thanks for sharing with us and thanks for the laughs again ha ha. Pigeons are disgusting rats with wings lol.
