How was the epic Boulder World Cup in front of the wild home crowd? Check out the new video to watch many world-class climbers competing on difficult new-school boulders in Prague (Czech Republic 🇨🇿) from qualification to semifinals, culminating in the great final round that turned into some of the best competition experiences in my career.

It says a lot that your favorite experience was during a comp you got silver in. I really respect that.
The sentiment “the other guy climbed great and I’m glad he won” is one of the reasons I love this sport.

I think we have to give some credit to the audience in Prague. Of course Adam was the crowd favourite, but they were cheering for every single climber out there! Amazing atmosphere 🔥
I loved how the top 6 were from 6 different countries and 2 continents. Unusual in most sports.

This video made me want to cry - all the people coming together and supporting every single climber, how much they cheered each time an athlete topped out, how much it clearly meant to you to have climbing come to your beautiful home country and to be able to do your people proud. What a fantastic event for a fantastic sport. Big love Adam ❤

Thank you Adam for being one of the best ever. I started Climbing circa 4 years ago, and since then I’m committing to improve and push my limits higer, slow but constant. You inspired me a lot, first as a human being then all the rest. The way you approach a wall, the way you use to find the best beta possible on a route and the dedication to the comps even after all these years. Just inspiring. My dream routes were FA’s of you in Italy, in the lake Como area, and I will pursuit my goals like you are. Thank you Adam, thanks for being the best 🔥

When I heard you'd compete in prague I talked to a close friend who introduced me to bouldering last year and spontaneoulsy snatched two tickets and beds in a hostel nearby. Such a delight seeing you live and the crowd was just amazing!

the difference in routesetting between this comp and Brixen is so interesting. that was a weird world cup and seeing you from placing silver a week prior to not qualifying for finals was crazy.
crazy how you still keep up with 16yo climbers. M3 in semis looked like it would dislocate my shoulder if i looked at it funny.

i was kind of surprised he did so poorly in Brixen because the routesetting didn't seem too much "new-school"

I love this sport.Everyone is so freaking encouraging and passionate! Adam, you are such a light and breath of fresh air. You have such a happy energy about you. For one, you're passion for climbing is quite literally contagious, but even more so, there's something so admirable about the way you carry yourself.

*While I LOVED seeing him in Prague, it may have been a case of Home Court Advantage, as he was maybe 18th in Brixen's semi-finals.*
*Perhaps he needed more time to recuperate between massive events. Perhaps we'll see him square off with Toby Roberts, who knows?*
