Introducing Symmetrical Astrology.
Astrology can teach us much about who we are, how we might evolve and what kind of themes may play out in our lives. If you’re interested in astrology, you’re probably familiar with the Tropical solar calendar; a commonly used astrological model. For myself and many others, however, Vedic astrology and sidereal calculations resonate far more strongly with my personality than my tropical interpretations do.
Still, I wanted to know more, and it was while exploring my own natal sidereal chart that I gradually developed the concept of Symmetrical Astrology.
Looking into my planets and placements, I began to perceive the natal chart as a wheel around which my life was progressing. I saw five lines on each house showing the progression of degrees, and I began to wonder whether these lines represented a five-year transit in each house, up to a total of 60 years.
Using this 5/60 model, I started to explore whether these transits could explain the important events I’d experienced throughout my life, both good and bad. Matching these events with the positions of stationed and transiting planets gave me some deeper insights, but the dates didn’t match exactly; they were off by around 10 degrees.
To hone this interpretation, I began to study the charts of celebrities. I looked at their defining life events; having a child, being involved in an accident, getting seriously ill and the day they died. Again, the 5/60 model came close, but the events were still off by 10 degrees.
Months passed with no further progress. Then, one evening while watching a documentary on the Sumerians, the number 72 flashed like a bolt of lightning in my mind. I’ve always believed in the power of numerology and symbolism, so I took it as a sign to replace the 5/60 model with 6/72. This new model represented up to 72 years instead of 60, but could of course go further than that age by adding six years at a time.
At that moment, I stopped everything and returned to the celebrity charts I’d studied for many months. To my amazement, the transits of the planets using the 6/72 model aligned with the major events in their lives to almost the exact degree - as did the events in my own chart.
Inspired to delve deeper into this discovery, I came up with the idea of connecting the houses for each ascendant. Starting with my own in Scorpio, I linked each sign and what emerged was a beautiful 12-pointed star with a narrow circle in the middle; what we’d traditionally call a star polygon or a dodecagram in geometry. In short, symmetry.
I repeated this process for all 12 ascendants and made another incredible discovery; that each star was formed by two ascendants. They are Aries and Libra, Taurus and Pisces, Gemini and Aquarius, Cancer and Capricorn, Leo and Sagittarius, and Virgo and Scorpio. Each pair becomes part of a unique star that forms when connected to the houses, creating six stars that translated into a six-year transit of each house.
Using this new system, I assigned a colour to each pair based on their personality and intensity. Using a drawing technique on Krita software, clear tones and shades began to develop. Virgo was magenta and Aries was red, which created a rich deep purple. Taurus and Pisces became orange, Gemini and Aquarius became yellow, Cancer and Capricorn became green, and Leo and Sagittarius were blue. These colours match the energy and personality of each ascendant pairing perfectly.
As my research broadened, I also learned that 6/72 aligned closely with The Great Year - also known as The Platonic Year - which represents one complete cycle of the equinoxes around the ecliptic. The energy of the six fundamental stars or ascendant pairings even matched up with the six major intervals in western music. Collectively, these learnings all equate to a clear system of astrological interpretation; 6/72 Symmetrical Astrology.
Through this book, I’ll explain how you can apply these principles to uncover the key events and themes in your own life, from the age you’re most likely to have a child to the potential year of your death - if that’s something you want to know. Beyond that, you’ll learn how the six-year transits could play out as you progress through the wheel of your own life, and how to harness them to achieve growth, transformation and abundance.

Great Video. Do you consider that Saturn is combusted being at 26 degrees in Libra in 12th house when Sun is at 2 degrees in Scorpio in 1st house? In this case both are in different houses. No the karmas are not escaped in that way, but if too much tension in there then obviously some distance may occur.
