Henry seems to be happy after the repair.
Enjoyed the video and I've definitely learned from it.
Many thanks for sharing 👍
Glad to hear it!
I just received a Henry HVR200-11. I had the equivalent model about 10 years ago when I lived in the UK and remember it as being the best vacuum I ever had, so I decided to buy one again. However, I'm not impressed. The quality has decreased a lot. First thing I notice out of the box is THE CABLE is rubbish. The cable on my previous unit was nice and pliable; the new one is stiff and feels cheap. As I unwind the cable, it springs back to its coiled shape as I let go of it on the floor. The cable makes cracking noises as I flex it, like many cheap stiff cables do, so now I'm going to have to change the cable, I guess. Other downgrades include the metal tubes, which used to be made of chrome-plated steel, now are made of cheaply finished stainless steel. In theory stainless steel is better as it's less susceptible to corrosion, but they didn't smooth out the edges which are razor-sharp. The other big downgrade is the floor head, which now is 100% made of plastic, including the bottom plate, which back in the day used to be metal. That used to be metal to prevent it from wearing, which is what plastic does. The smile on my new Henry is not a happy one.
That’s how it goes in this modern world!
Where were you running ? Through curries 🤣
👍
That's a 2012 model
Like a hvr200 a2
Pretty much except no 580 watt motor
@@Mr_D2_1004Nye but the hvr200a2 sounds like a 1200w henry
@@TheCoolGuy1001it’s basically the same motor yes but it runs on lower wattage
