I tracked my luggage that was supposed to get in Bali but the apple tag helped me to track it and i came to know it reached Perth Australia. It helped me to retrieve my luggage in 24 hours and 20k indian rupees for delayed baggage instead of loss of baggage
Its good as let chain and wallet so its easy and u wont forget at home or office. I use samsung tags and when my frnd takes my car i can track them by tag attached to keychain worth it but it rare use and maximum use of samsung tag is to find phone and control smartthingd and mainly to remeber i forget keys or wallet and m out of reach And batery lasted for 11 month and 13 month each tag.
My Airtags acts the same way when there are no apple devices around. Until apple user base increases in India, these 2 products are one and the same for me.

Lol a Sim is not equal to a phone. It cannot control the phones radios or anything. Only a phone company can make this happen not a sim company. Also the company should be huge enough to have devices everywhere which only apple currently is not even samsung can be this consistent now.

So the phone calls and the internet you use by connecting to jio servers are physically connected to the phones radios & antennas not the sim card itself. So even if the sim card company wants the GPS information it cannot attain it unless the phone allows it cause it physically connects to the phone not the sim card. Please do research instead of making comments on me

Even Airtag's live location works only within bluetooth range. Basically its the same tech thats inside both of these tags. The difference is iPhone's U1 chip which helps in live location of the tag which android lacks. If you lost your airtag in India, thats basically same as the Jio tag because the IPhone network here is just so so

Actually they are not completely useless. I mean There is a an option which is not mentioned in this shorts. If you loose a Jio Tag, 1) It only shows the last location, when the Jio tag was connected via Bluetooth to mobile. 2) When lost, you can Mark your JioTag as lost on the JioThings app. So the Jio Community find network will search and report back the location of your lost JioTagged belonging!
Jio tag should use jio tower specific wireless band to relay it's location information to jio servers and then we from our jio app linked to that tag should read that location information.
I think in future live location will be added , the technology is already in the market and reliance has the money , we will see a new product from jio with this feature
It uses nearby iphones to determine it's location, I really like the Apple ecosystem considering how well optimized and connected their devices are.. but I'm on the green side TBH.

Without Live location,it is just another fancy toy. We need features in phone like,when it is stolen. The thief immediately switch it off,we need to somehow able to prohibit such action without dismantling batteries (which in most cases can cause damage to the phone),the thief shouldn't be able to switch off device also,there should be live location,Loud ringtone,Face camera turn on all time once stolen. I believe,there should be an ESiM feature just for security reasons and also an emergency tiny battery of 500mah embedded along side the processor. So there's no possible way the perpetrator can actually steal this phone. Even if he disconnect battery it will still be powered by emergency embedded battery which will constantly send SOS and live location with Esim (again this can't be removed via sim tray),so your phone is absolutely SAFE

The "live location" is contingent on enough iPhones kicking about around. Not nearly as much of a case in India (outside certain urban pockets maybe).
Instead of giving it buttons for camera control they could have given it better features.
