I have been subscribed to this channel for a long time. It seems that every boat that they review, according to them, is the best boat ever built. I recommend checking out some other review sites before you buy.

Exactly my thoughts. How many ways different ways can you find to say a boat is good? Essentially it's paid advertising; if you say they're good, the manufacturers play ball down the track.

I don’t really think the contender belongs in the same category as the other two boats..

Good reviews and I agree a 23' is a good entry size. It would be nice to know performance such as cruise speed/fuel burn and top speed estimates.

My robalo R240 with single yamaha 300 gets about 1.8 mpg average mid 20s cruise with full load, mid 40s with a light load top end. Im sure the 230 is a bit better being im 1000lbs heavier from the start, added motor weight, and about 90 gal more of fuel.

Cheers from Australia. Your normal boating waters always look calm compared to ours.

They do all these reviews inshore or on calm days. I guess it helps their production. The US has thousands of miles of coast line on the Atlantic and Pacific and big water is always available. We love our bars and hurricanes. The US has many good harbors and most of the time we don't have to launch boats off the beach into ocean surf. That's almost silly. Best get another hobby.

@@tomsreviews238Yes, it still looks very nice. Don't get me wrong we have great boating waters, Queenland coast Great Barrier Reef for example.

@@AquaMarine1000 I have nothing to do with the boats these guys are promoting. I love the ocean and I guarantee you that Americans are very fond of the Aussies. Have a good life mate.

@@AquaMarine1000 Go to youtube channel zipzappower and any other Haulover inlet channels. that's in Florida also and can get very nasty. I look at Australian sites all the time.

Your reviews are all sunshine, rainbows, Unicorns, and puppies. But puppies have a backside. You should cover that part as well.

Grady cockpit is super small because the transom extends a third of the way into the boat! Poor design!

The Contender 35ST is not even in the same category as the other two boats. The dealer cost for a Contender 35ST is around 203k. Crackhead dealers mark them up to the MSRP of 270k.

A 23 ft boat that goes offshore capable with a 25 gallon live well is just sad
