The truth is that with the quality of your videos I don't understand why you don't have more followers. Keep working hard and everything will come. Thanks for the motivation!

Thank you dude 🙏
Great step forward! Gotta keep stepping forward!
You're awesome man
love this for you dude. keep killin it. love the quality of the videos
thanks bro!
Congrats man, it was a tough day for sure. I ran Indy this year as well was hoping for 3:19 and ended up with 3:28. But like you said, a steppingstone to bigger and better things. Stay hungry!
Im proud of you no matter what bro. U did amazing.
DAWG MENTALITY. Insane documentation. Stepping stone to greatness.
Hell yeah
Jeff’s speech gave me chills
Great run in not ideal conditions. Your team did an amazing job with this video. What a coach Jeff is!
Thank you dude 🙏
Outstanding performance under those crazy conditions 🥇🏆👊🏾
Well done my brother.
I am three weeks out from my first marathon at CIM. Watching ur training for past couple months just makes me realize how brutally difficult to hit Sub three on the first attempt, despite knowing how fast ur splits were in training runs.
Mad respect for you and let's make this happen!
Great effort man! You're an inspiring athlete
Awesome time! I’m sure you’ll get to your goal keep it going!
this is so inspiring. such a great video! i recently got interested in running & sub 3 hour marathon is on my life bucket list
thank you!
Congrats Joey! Im hoping to hit a sub 4 in my first marathon in January. Thanks for the inspiring content 👍🏼
Enjoyed this a lot 🙌🏼 I can relate to the pain of running in strong winds... it's the worst
This will be all the motivation you need to crush your next Sub 3 💪🏼
This was an amazing process to be able to watch! You have and will inspire many with your content, keep at it dog 🤝
thank you dude
Way to battle it out! Tough weather for us in NYC too, but it’s back to the drawing board. Brick by brick!
you are an amazing man just hearing your story and just seeing your videos recently for the first time and your determination how you ran that makes me wanna go out there and do it myself one of these days your next race is gonna be epic i know it
Thank you brotha. Get out there and set the standard 🔥
Joey, im so damn proud of you! what you did is truly awesome. a sub 3:10 with those weather conditions is something you can be so proud of! And that 3:07, thats just the stepping stone to sub 3!
GO ONE MORE
Thank you Demi 🙏🙏
Yessir!
Very proud of you
🔥🙏
First time passing by, diffidently great filming. Something I aspire to do to yet I have a lot to learn. Subscribed Joey ;)
Awesome stuff Joey! I ran Monumental Marathon, too. I wish that I had followed your journey before the marathon! Inspirational stuff!
Pure inspiration 💪🏻
That’s awesome!!!!!! I’ve run the Houston Marathon the last 10 years and a sub 4 has eluded me, but not giving up. Really appreciate the inspirational video.
Congrats man, we go again!
😈😈
I can't wait
INSPIRING
Congrats bro 🥹 the journey continues 💪
Sure does
Great effort! You live to fight another day 💪🏼
That's the plan!
@@joeyschultzfitness superb! Look forward to seeing how you get on with next marathon.
Letttssss goooo 💪🏾👌🏽🤞🏽
You did us proud bro . i am watch your vidoes all the way from sierra Leone west africa .
thank for inspring me 3 hours 7 munites is wonderful and i belive you will get it he next time.
this video mad inspiring bro! it aint always a straight line to the top. my first marathon was 4:03, went for sub 3 for the first time and got 3:23, then went for sub 3 again and had dummy calf cramps so ended up with 3:41, then finally pulled it off the 3rd try at 2:57. to be honest, when you voice that you want something so much and fall up short the first time, it makes it that much more special & impactful when you finally get there. you'll get that sub 3 soon man just keep pushin brick by brick baby!
Nice work dude, never finished
awesome job bro, the comeback game is strong
🙏🙏🙏
Let’s go!!!!!!!
🔥
Grt attempt.
I walked this journey along with you, and I’m aiming for sub 3:15 tomorrow. Great reminder that all I can do is give my best and leave it all out on the course, even if it means I don’t quite reach my goal. You’ll be back for that sub 3:00 baby
Got 3:08:28😤
Let’s go dude 🙏😈
Inspiration 🙏
Joey,
I've been watching you for a while now...To say the least your content has been nothing but straight fuel and inspiration. Let it be know that I see you out here! ME, a complete stranger yet I'm so incredibly of proud of you! Be comfortable being uncomfortable.
-Tony
Thank you 👊🙏
First off this is one of the best running videos I've seen in a while. Second is I only run 5k races with not so great times I have 2 at the end of this month and hope to get better times and seeing this is really motivating and I would love to run a marathon one day.
Appreciate the love 🙏
Just found your channel. Glad CZcams recommended you. I’ve have ran sub 3 hour, if I can anyone can. You got this!
Thank you dude. Welcome 🙏
this just leaves you more and more hungry. we all know youre going to do it. it will be done.
Game day 👍
🔥🔥🔥
My g
Way to Go Bro !!! btw which Nike shoe were you wearing ?
extremely impressive time mate. You can only be disappointed because you set such a lofty goal. 3:07 is amazing
Thank you 🙏
Hardcore!! hope to see you run 2:50 or a time near that above or below that soon and go well under 3 👍
Was tough out there. My brother and I ran with you for some of the race it looks like. Sub 3 soon.
Was for sure tough
A 20+ min pr is still good. He's been guaranteeing a sub the but once I saw the "attempt" sadly I knew. If anyone will get you to sub 3, it's that coach
3:07 is a phenomenal time in those condition 👏🏻
Yeah, I know what it's like to not be quite ready for something, I didn't sub-3 until February 2019, two years after I ran my first marathon in Austin. I couldn't handle those hills, but after some practice I went from a 3:41 to a 2:59. Yep, a marathon is nothing to play with.
nice job bro❤🎉 , btw how can u make the voice narrator effect of 18:10
I ran my first marathon in the monumental too! I ran 3:20 but I got a stress fracture in my foot at mile 20. I was running 7:11 pace until that point. Would of finished right around you!
Dude! This is wild. I ran with you for a bit at Indy and you just popped up on my CZcams tonight. I asked you where you got your hat and you said it was your brand. I wanted to buy one but freaking forgot the brand! It's higher level right? Didn't realize Jeff C was your coach.
Was that an Australian Holden Monaro in the garage??
AYE! Caught a glimpse of myself in this art piece! Brutal day man but way to power forward.
This is still amazing! How long did it take for you to get to this level?
close to an 8 month prep
Anyone know the glasses lol ? .. congrats btw
Your pretty close, you will go under 3
I have nothing but respect for you man. I’m a high school senior and I decided to run cross country this season with no prior experience. Throughout the summer I would would watch your training vlogs as I was doing my own training. My season ended just last week and I was able to achieve some of the big goals I set for myself (sub 20 5k, sub 6 mile, and top 5 on my team). Despite all this the I still felt like there were some missed opportunities at the end of the season. I came within seconds of my PR in each of the last 4 races. Seeing your marathon post on Strava the morning of my final race was kind of symbolic for me. No matter what the outcomes were gave our best efforts. I’ve learned so much during this season, and I feel honored to have gone on my running journey with you! Best of luck going forward. God bless, Godspeed.
I love that. That's awesome. Keep stacking bricks
14:16 what's the song name? Also love your videos!!♥
Anyone know what his last time was prior to this race? Great vid, this channels about to blow up 💯💯
I ran a 3:32 at the BPN marathon before Indy
You remind me of nick bare 😂
This WAS a failure simply because it's a failed attempt in getting a sub-3 (if you had made it under, you would have definitely called it a success). The only way I would call this a success is if you weren't actually prepared for it, and were lucky to have run a 3:07. There's no need to justify failure or call it a success (or even a stepping stone, because of course it is) because the weather was such and such (are you 1000% sure you would have run a sub-3 if weather was perfect?), instead I think you need to embrace failure, and learn from it. That's what will make you strong. It's ok to fail - this time you did, make sure next time you don't. Good luck!
Nice effort!!! One question? What is a wholly cr*p, think that's what you said, you find the answer to that, and most likely you surpase 3 hour marathon, maybe even hit 2.33:) a little hint, no such thing, and never mock the wholly spirit, rule number one, ok more then a hint, just wanted to help as much as possible:)
How tall are you bro
6”2
@@joeyschultzfitness tips on growing taller bro
Ran my first marathon on Saturday. I came out the gate entirely to fast and got crushed at mile 16. Ended up finishing in 5 hours. Not the time I was looking for but I’ll do it again. Learn from my mistakes and work harder. Congrats on your accomplishment Joey, you got this next time!
Congrats dude 🙏
Lots and Lots of easy miles at Zone 2 pace, for 6-12 months. 100 miles weekly is a good number. Low body weight is a plus. Just a few harder running sessions starting 6 weeks out. During all your easy runs here and there, run the last 20 to 30 minutes at Zone 3 or Zone 4 pace once a week. Make sure you do a long run of about 23 miles about 3 weeks out...last 3 weeks, gradually start tapering down. MILES MAKE THE CHAMPION - ARTHUR LYDIARD
You are too heavy dude.
Need to shred some weight off if you are into running and posting vids on CZcams.
