@@cjmitz actually, by purchasing 2 types of wire, a battery pack, a vape pen, and using a soldering iron, I can (and did) make my own for less than $30 so kindly go away.

I just want a small fog machine to make my desk feel extra spooky during Halloween
This might just work for my SubZero cosplay next year. Plan on making a frosted looking ball. There will be lights inside and a fogger. The ball will have tiny holes throughout so the fog can seep through. With the lights on, it'll look like a glowing ball of ice with vapor coming off of it.
is it possible to use normal fog fluid for regular fog machines? and also, how long would a 50ml bottle of glycerine-based fluid last? how many uses per bottle?
Since our smoke machines use a different smoke generation technology, you won't be able to use normal smoke machine fluid in them. We only recommend using our own fluid. One bottle is equivalent to around 100 minutes of continuous use at full power. Hopefully this helps!

Please make more videos. I have been looking for a small portable fogger to use for photography and the few I have seen are way too expensive. This is not a bad price, but I'd like to get a better feel for just how much fog it creates and how log the fog lingers. Can you please stand a person in front of a black background and surround them with fog, then keep filming to show how long it takes to dissipate?

Wow that's actually a really good price, Idk why other people are complaining.
almost 200 dollars when you go to checkout. $140 for just the machine without the remote. $160 dollars for the machine with the remote. Then comes the shipping cost. Which is $17,75. You have $14,22 added to that 160. So it goes up to $191,97.. I love this machine but that is way too much for a tiny machine.. What happened to the original price that was just simply $80? If you are getting this in the US, the tax gets eliminated. So it goes down to $177,75
@@DarkDoge Yes, it's a tiny machine, but full sized fog machines run 500+ even on the low end. For a fog machine, especially one of this quality and portability, $180 isn't too bad.

The technology we use is different from that of traditional smoke machines so you wouldn't be able to use their liquid in our devices.

The momentary button is there in place for safety so we wouldn’t recommend installing a toggle switch. Unfortunately, the MicroFogger cannot be controlled wirelessly however we do offer a wired 2.54mm DC barrel jack control port installation service upon request. This option allows you to activate it by simply shorting two wires using a button or relay of your choice. Please reach out to our support email in order to learn more.

Good day I purchased a Micro Fogger and it was shipped on the 25th of September 2020 and has been sitting 'in transit to another facility 'at USPS since the 1st October 2020, I understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic, but to have no contact details for the Courier service you have used is very frustrating. I have sent you emails for assistance to follow up with USPS, no response. Very Frustrating.
Is the case able to be opened? I’d like to run wires to the fire button terminals so that I can create a longer extended wired switch. Ultimately a wireless switch would be best, but even so if the terminals can be exposed I could just create my own wireless switch. If that is possible, could I get a deal on buying more than one? For example, four? And what’s the ETA for the wireless switch model? Thanks!
Hello Julio! The MicroFogger isn’t supposed to be opened however we sometimes make custom MicroFoggers with external ports that allow you to attach your own button or relay to trigger them. Please contact support@workshopscience.com and we will help you organize such a purchase.

I want this for my mysterio cosplay, but is there a way to keep the fog going without having to press the button?
The MicroFogger has a 10s safety limit so you cannot run it continuously however we may be able to offer a custom wired remote solution. If you are interested in such a modification, please contact support@workshopscience.com
May I suggest adding a remote? This would make it a breeze to incorporate into theatre props and school projects.... Otherwise it's not worth buying, especially for $80 in my opinion

Unfortunately not, the MicroFogger can only produce white smoke. You may want to look into smoke pellets if you need coloured smoke

Lowering the wattage will result in less vapor being produced. We do not recommend putting any liquids other than the one provided into the MicroFogger but yes, the setup you mentioned should work.
How loud is the microfogger? I'm thinking about including it into a costume but don't want to sound like a motor every time I start I up 😅
It’s about 55db at max power but if you decrease the power level slightly, it will almost as quiet as a computer fan.

Hello! Normally, the MicroFogger can only be activated using the integrated button however we can install a custom control port that would allow you to connect a wired remote. If you are interested in this, please contact support@workshopscience.com and we will assist you in placing such an order.
how many 10 sec puffs you get on "full" tank, and full charge ?
Our general guideline is that if used correctly, one coil will allow you to produce around 100 10s smoke bursts at maximum power. This number will greatly vary depending on how intensely you use the MicroFogger. A full charge will give you a maximum of 45 minutes of run time. More information can be found on the product page.
Regarding fog fluid consumption, a full 2ml tank is equivalent to around 4 minutes of continuous smoke production.
Can this unit use essential oils as the fuel ?

Unfortunately not, since the MicroFogger makes a vapor rather than smoke, it isn't possible to color it as the dye will remain inside the device.

Yes, the MicroFogger's power can be adjusted so you can control exactly how much smoke you want to produce.

This is quite simply a smoke machine so there is no age restriction. Fog fluid can be included in each order, that option is given during checkout but chemically, it is food-grade vegetable glycerin.
WorkshopScience also why does it cost so much?? U say it’s affordable but it’s really not. And how much in USA money is it??
If you go ahead and research battery operated mini smoke machines for photography/SFX you will see that the MicroFogger is by far the cheapest option. The only other comparable product of this size is over 900$! If you don't believe me, just search for "Tiny FX" and you will see.
This is basically a jury rigged e-cigarette.

Would it be strong enough to haze a whole room?
The MicroFogger will be able to haze a small to medium sized room pretty quickly. If the air is relatively still, you may be able to even haze larger rooms although this will take longer.
Question, can it be made or modified easily to be remote controlled?
Unfortunately not, at the moment you have to use it in person unless of course you were to rig up a mechanism to press the button remotely

Can I buy fog liquid elsewhere or would it only work with the fog liquid in your site?
It will work with any vape fluid, however some produce more smoke than the others (100% VG are the best if I'm not mistaking)

Whilst fog fluid was optional for the original MicroFogger, all new MicroFogger 2 orders will come with a bottle of it by default.

More information can be found at the FAQ and TOS pages on the WorkshopScience website but as you mention, you can return an undamaged and unused item within 14 days, there are no special instructions.

Aljfcry617 it is not recommended to fill the fluid tank with anything apart from pure vegetable glycerine. You could try it but it would be at your own risk.
