  • This video is about Andhra style raw mango and lentils preparation called Mamadikaya Pappu or mango dal . It’s a very simple and tasty dish goes very well with steam rice and ghee . This is a very traditional household lentil preparation in a day today life ,tempered with cumin,garlic and curry leaves .
    Ingredients
    Toor Dal - 3/4 Cup
    Raw mango - 1
    Green chillies - 8
    Shallots - 8
    Garlic - 8
    Tomato - 1
    Turmeric - 1/4 Tsp
    Salt - To Taste
    Gingelly Oil - 20 ml
    Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp
    Dry Chillies - 4
    Cumin - 1/2 Tsp
    Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
    Chilli powder - 1/4 Tsp
    Ghee
    Coriander leaves - 2 sprigs
