  • Misty Copeland, the first African American female principal dancer with the American Ballet Theatre, has often spoken out about being "different" in the world of ballet. Her journey from living in a motel to dancing on the stage of the Metropolitan Opera House and her story of perseverance through poverty, racism, and overcoming setbacks from injury has made Copeland an inspiring figure to millions. In her new book, The Ballerina Body, she explores the disciplines required to create and sustain physical conditioning at the highest level. Robin Robinson joins Copeland for this not-to-be-missed conversation about grace and strength.
