    Thanks for the tutorial! I have been having nonstop print & cut issues with Cricut lately, with no customer support (who has time to wait on hold for 2hrs, and an online ticket I filled out a week ago has not been responded to)...I'm debating buying a Silhouette instead. Will play with the free version of the software first, but so far, I like what I see! :)

      Hey Mel! Thanks for watching! In my experience, my Cricut Maker has been more reliable on Print and Cut than any of my Silhouette machines. While I'm a huge Silhouette fan, this is one area that Cricut has been stronger. What type of issues are you having? Perhaps I can help! ---Becky

      @@DesignBundles HI Becky! My Air Explore 2 won't calibrate. I make stickers for my planner, and the basic boxes end up with the border on 2 sides, and 2 sides are white. Any stickers that are odd shapes (ex deco), get cut off on one side and extra white on the other. I always turn on bleed. I have done a "hard" firmware update 3 times (unplug, hold down load button, plug back in and power button is red, then update firmware in DS). I have also run the calibration a dozen or so times - it never cuts on the box, and sometimes the lettered and numbered lines are all identical - barely touching the black lines. đŸ€·â€â™€ïž If you have any ideas, I welcome them! 🙂

    really nice video, I want have a question you might be able to help me with,
    1st. Do you put your A4 Paper on the matt at the A4 line or the 8,5x11 line?
    2nd. I needed to cut a few circle stickers however it always cuts off a bit for example there is a bit of the white sticker paper on my circle, but I don’t want to add a white outline to my logos. Do you have any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
    3rd: For sticker sheets I always draw my stickers in Procreate on an 8,5x11 inch size and just import them as they are to silhouette, is that okay ? Cause you added the background after that , would you recommend another Procreate size ir technique?

    Hello! These videos are super helpful! I was wondering if you knew how to fix alignment issues when printing through Silhouette studio. I've printed out so many stickers but there are always alignment issues and I haven't been able to print out one perfect sticker yet! Do you have any suggestions or is there a video you would recommend? Thanks so much!

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  Pƙed 3 lety +2

      Hey Suki! So I do have some basic tips for helping with alignment issues. Number one, always make sure that your screen matches your mat. So what this means is to double check that your page size is set correctly, that the margins on your printer aren't going to interfere, and that your registration marks are set up correctly. Number two, try adding an additional light source, some crafters even shine a flashlight over the area. Your Cameo has an optical lens that needs to "see" and heavy shadows or dim lighting can interfere. Number three, practice on copy paper before using more expensive material. This will help you with your frustration. You can also use sketch pens to "draw" where your cut will go, so you can test where the cut lines are before actually cutting. I'll put together a video on these tips soon so you can better see what I mean. Hope this helps! ---Becky

      @suzannelee5404 Pƙed 3 lety +1

      @@DesignBundles Thank you so so much for answering super quick! But my alignment problem is actually with the printing part of the process (not the cutting). I am able to print my files perfectly when not using the Silhouette Studio software but when I am using the software, there are always alignment issues here and there.

    I followed this video and all of my cut lines are still way off, so I've wasted almost all my sticker paper. 😭😭 Any other SUPER detailed breakdown videos you recommend? Clearly I'm missing a few steps..

      Hey Emily! Sorry to hear that your cut lines are so far off. I would do 2 things. First, switch over to copy paper for your testing so you can save your label sheets for when you are ready. Second, do you have a sketch pen? Sketch pens will write instead of cut, so you can see exactly where the cut lines would be without actually cutting.
      When you're ready to troubleshoot, I would take a few steps that usually make a huge difference:
      1. Make sure your paper setup menu reflects exactly like what is on your cutting mat. Look and match up your registration marks, they should be in the same place on both your paper and the monitor (I had a huge issue with this on one of the recent updates).
      2. Make sure you have accurate lighting, use a flashlight or lamp if you need to, it might make a difference.
      Ok, let me know what you think and we'll troubleshoot some more! ---Becky

    Can u do this off an iPad

      Hey Bre! Last time I used the Silhouette Go app, this feature wasn't available, but I haven't tested it again since it was released from beta testing. Initially I don't think an iPad will be enough for importing clipart to create stickers. Hope this helps! ---Becky

    Is this paper printable vinyl?

      Good question Kathey! This is printable sticker paper, but the same concepts would apply for printable vinyl, you would just use different cut settings. Hope this helps! ---Becky

    Why is it that people who make these kind of videos just assume that only women watch them, then address their audience as “ladies” or “girls” as this presenter did. I was looking for tips to make stickers with my new Cameo 4. The fact that I’m male is irrelevant, it was the information contained in the video that I was after. For future reference and videos, please don’t assume that all your audience is female
