I've been traveling around the world, mostly solo, for almost 10 years now. We all want a fabulous time when traveling, but it's still life, and life is never perfect! I take a pic of all my important documents and email them to myself. Then I have the numbers just in case! I had booked a hostel in a seaside town in Croatia that listed the wrong price (they said it was double the quoted price). So I took a bus to Krakow instead and had a wonderful time!
For recommendations for a local doctor while traveling, most travel insurance policies I've purchased include a concierge service which can help find nearby medical treatment options. Usually, however, the hotel or guest house where I am staying has been able to identify the best local hospital and doctors for the (knock on wood) few times I've needed it while on the road and even help me get to the hospital or clinic. Hey I'm retired on my Ranger 60k year tax free I travel with my service dog it was in the military with me just about a new truck taking my time to fix it up I'm going to be traveling in definitely maybe we will cross paths be cool to have someone to talk to you along the way lol
Great advises especially mulit credit or debit cards different location also copy of documents and cards is very useful.

Which company do you use for travel insurance?
Lately Allianz, but i've also used World Nomads and Battleface. The most important thing is that you read the fine print, because the underwriter will depend on where you live and that can change things for your policy
