- Having a good time on my '75 jazz, playing my song "Trill Seekers" with lotsa groovy trills, slides & staccato thumb/finger plucking to juice things up, it's so much fun to play! I recorded the bass with an Ebs Microbass II DI into a Focusrite pro 24 audio interface into my pc, no fx were used, just an Ebs Multicomp Compressor. I used Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings, the pickups are stock from '75. Full band studio recording of this song out on all streaming services! What I like most about this is the fact that he plays each note well, not just quickly. Each note has a clear start, stop, and purpose, and he positions his left hand solidly every single time ... especially at 4:07 ... that's special.

Bass teachers always recommend Jacco, Victor etc but damn If I ever taught bass I would 100% show them Remco. You do a great job at showing how versatile bass can be and have a very unique bass style. There's a lot a bassist can learn by watching these videos.
