I got to disagree with you,this is the FIRST girl I've come across who plays with feel and from the heart rather than the stereo typical "Look at me and how fast I can shred for a girl" type players ,No disrespect to shredding guitar girls,KEEP shredding!. I randomly picked her "Shake 'em On Down" video she was playing on a four string cigar box slide guitar and sounded awesome IMO Her outfit was a bit distracting simply because it took away from her playing ability,she doesn't need to dress sexy,simply because being as good as she is makes her hot,at least coming from a one guy's opinion.She caught my attention after watching a bunch of other really good female players, she stood out to me as both a player and singer.The Don Odell videos she did are really good.I found a new favorite guitarist tonight in her.I've never heard of Anna Popovic so now I'm going to have to check her out so maybe I'll find another.
Now 3 years later she certainly trusts herself to sing harder and louder. It works. Joe Bonamassa used to have a weak, so so voice, but then I listen to him for guitar, not his singing. Now in 2017 & 2018, he's developed a very decent voice. I'm thinking maybe he took some vocal lessons.
There's a lot of people who don't really like music. They pretend they do but instead of listening and digging the sound of the moment they just do pointless comparisons, looking to pimp their own egos by knocking someone or yakking someone up. Music is wasted on these musical bean counters and would-be critics.
