The thousand year reign occurred from 33-70AD, the tribulation occured from 66-70AD (three and a half years)

That may be what you believe, but it isn't what the Bible teaches.

@@calvaryfountainhills Can you please tell me where I went wrong?

I believe every book of the Bible should be taken literally first. Revelation is no different. When Scripture isn't literal, we are told what John is seeing is "something like", or it "looked like". There is no account in history of anything that looked like what Revelation describes. In Revelation 1:19 Jesus tells John to write the things that he has seen, the things that are, and the things that will take place after this. Since this is written after 70 AD, the things that will take place after this must happen in the future. Since these things haven't happened yet, they are still in the future. You may not agree with me, and that's okay, but it's not a reason to give a negative review if you don't agree with something I say.

@@calvaryfountainhills Why would take everything "literally?" The Bible was not written to you. It was written in a very different form than what you would expect to read today. The book even states in Chapter 1 verse 1 that it was written in "signs", therefore, reading it as a newspaper is erroneous. Also, why don't you take the time-statements "literally" does "soon", "at hand", "at the door", "near", coming quickly" - literally mean over 2000 years to you? Seems rather problematic for sure. Also why do you say the book was written after 70AD? The internal evidence strongly says otherwise. I didn't give a "negative review" I simply and concisely gave the timing of the thousand year reign of Rev 20.

We have very different opinions about how to interpret Scripture. I won't argue with you about this because I won't change your mind, and you can't possibly change mine. When we get to heaven, we won't even care. Blessings to you.
