Great speech, Angelina Jolie have a special quality to find the right words, she is so elegant and eloquent and clear in her words that make her message more powerful. She truly become a good and complete Diplomat that is respected by all world and someone that can talk directly to the people in the streets and to the rulers in the power.
One of the few celebrities who transitioned gracefully. I watch her reach out to those who are affected by famine and inhumane situations and shes been doing it wholeheartedly.What an act of kindness. God bless you Angelina.
There is a lot of Stars and celebraties that do lots of works and put millions of Dollars for the UN and other countries without you ever hear about there good deeds. They don't do it for fame. When Angelina Jolie does something. She makes sure the Media is there to see. So I honour the stars and celebraties who do so with humility .And not be seen for the good they do.

It seems as though she only appears publicly to speak about these important topics, or when she's contractually obligated to do so (most often to promote her movies or the movies she acts in). Moreover, she has been doing this charity and UN work for a pretty long time, and you can easily find obscure videos with only a couple thousand views where she speaks to not very well known people about these subjects. I don't know her, but in my mind, if someone just wants positive attention, they would:
1) use their social media to constantly update their followers about their work
2) only associate with popular activists loved by all, wouldn't bother digging too deep into subjects
3) and, after a few years, they may simply get bored and find another way to get attention
So, in light of all of this, it seems unlikely that she just wants validation.

This is a person I am impressed by and admire.
I support her with her work and duty to UNHR. She already show her deep concern to this refugees. Even them,their life is in danger to those enemy of their country. America welcome them, as long they follows our constitution with respect. Proud of her and I am a fan of her accomplishment in UN. This make her positive in life, and keep family private.

Internationalism asserts nationalism as the cause for conflict and insecurity; an assertion which may fail under close scrutiny since both conflict and insecurity have existed prior to the existence of the nation-state; contrarily, an argument may be raised that Internationalism foments conflict and insecurity in order to forward what may in fact be its own anti-nationalist agenda.
We might like to believe global domination by an internationalist movement will lead to world peace and security but global peace and security doesn't seem to present the same potential as global conflict and insecurity, so if anyone can offer an explanation for why global peace and security serve the interests of such a movement, I for one would be happy to hear it, so the question we propose is as follows: Does global peace and security serve the interests of Internationalism and if so, how?

As long as the human species chooses hate over love, willful ignorance over enlightenment and slavery over freedom global peace will be impossible. Human's are slaves that simple and this needs to be understood to move forward. All human's are slaves and teach their children to be intolerant, igonorant, willfully cruel and to be slaves as well. This is the truth there is no other. human's pride themselves on their willful ignorance they celebrate it in fact. This is how their master's taught the generations before the one's now and how they will always be managed. Example, higher education ..lol. Human's are trained like a patriot to repeat certain answers to certain questions and if they give the correct answer they get a reward, if not well we won't get into that here. There is absolutely no intelligence in higher education because all you do is repeat thing's. Human's know literally nothing but think they know everything it is pathetic, truly. Human's do not think for themselves they just don't and really don't try as a whole, hence they make the best slaves. There are some who wake up from this illusion but are quickly killed off so as not to enlighten the other's. More likey however the other slaves do the needed killing. So there you have it. None of your thoughts are yours absolutely zero and everything you uave ever been told is a lie..sooo figure it out from there then try to stay alive lol. Good luck.

Wonderful speech but the information for Nigeria is wrong. Thousands of lives in North Eastern Nigeria are at the brink of Malnutrition, starvation and eventually death from the on going wars (using her own words) and not South Eastern Nigeria. Though her speech is very passionate, a wrong message has been conveyed to the world in that regard. Although she's trying to drive home a message, i do not agree that wrong facts should be used for the propagation of the message. I hope she corrects it. It shouldn't be ignored. South Eastern Nigeria is relatively peaceful and asides being the region where a lot of manufacturing is done in Nigeria, South eastern Nigeria, also adds value to the Country's economy in the area of Agriculture. Most of the states in that region also constitute the oil producing states in Nigeria.

Then i send all of our expereince threats, vedios audio records to UN headquarters,
HUMAN RIGHTS HEAD QUARTERS.
SO far last 4 years no response or solutions.
Still we lost our fulltime work rights?

I am sorry but I think she should stay in her field and not get involved here. My niece is 6 and she would have sounded more convincing. All these words someone wrote for the actress came out as flat and boring as they could be. Embarrassing. There was no communication, no contact, no underlying trace of will to say all these things.
