Natalia shows you how to make real Colombian arepas: easy and delicious!
At Dreaming Spanish, you will learn Spanish the way you learned your native language, namely, through immersion. Simply start watching content at a level that is comprehensible to you, and gradually work your way towards more and more advanced videos.
As researchers like Dr. Stephen Krashen have shown over the past 40+ years, receiving comprehensible input, that is, messages that you can understand in the target language, is what actually results in language acquisition.
By listening to our stories, cultural expositions, conversations and games, you will get used to real Spanish as it's used in context, and develop a native-like intuition for the grammar and the vocabulary, together with a clear pronunciation.
Experience the language. Become the language.

Me encanta ese video..Poco y poco estoy aprendiendo mas sobre Colombia. La arepa debe ser muy rica. Natalia puedes compartir conmigo?
Me encanta saber sobre la comida de otras países , que maravilla
Natalia 😍😍
Thank yon for bringing a great Colombian beginner video. I actually wrote down the instructions to make these Arepas. Paisas generally eat thinner arepas that are more like tortillas. But these look delicious and I can't wait to make some.
Loved this one! Natalia is definitely one of my favorites and it was great to see her do a beginner level video so people at that level can see what joy they have in store for them when they reach intermediate and get to see the rest of her content. Also I love these more active videos where hosts are doing something (besides drawing) in addition to speaking.
Vi este video mientras estaba comiendo una arepa! Good timing lol and thank you the educational and well produced videos as always!
Like em video hermana saludos de brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

Aye dios mio Natalia tus arepas se ven muy ricas.
Lo tuve q poner en 1.5x pero es mi culpa por ser español y ver videos pa' aprender español
2x voy bien 😂
I was confused by the types of cheese described. Generally I think of cheese as shredded, chopped or cubed, and sliced. You used the word trajado I think. Is that then sliced or cut. And what is rebanado then.
Me Perdon Augustina mas...Natalia : Jo Tambien Te quiero jajajaja
Cómo diría Shelcin "ñamñam, qué rico, ñamñam"
Damas y caballeros...por favor se escribe 'Colombia'. Nunca escribiría Ingland o United Estates. Gracias!
I love this so much but will it help me to SPEAK? to people? Thank you
One tablespoon salt?!? 1/2 - 1 teaspoon is more than enough and way more health 😂😂
I salt my food to taste and my blood pressure is just fine.
Less isn’t necessarily better. Too low sodium can also negatively impact your health. Below 3000 mg per day was shown to actually increase risk of death or cardiac events.

Also, people with health conditions like POTS are actually often encouraged to increase both their sodium and water intake.
