How to setup and Install the Logitech C920:
1. Go to the C920 support page support.logite...
2. Select Downloads
3. Download the correct Logitech C920 software for your operating system
4. Once the download completes, open the file and begin the installation process.
5. In the installation options, select the software that you would like to install.
6. Your Logitech C920 HD webcam is now installed and ready to be used.

It's $79.99 on some websites and I have seen it as much as $200, however everywhere you can look, it's on backorder. I can't wait to get mine. Great video also!!
I had C270 got it for 20 euros when Covid hit prices to skyrocketed even for old models, some cheapo web-cams, etc and you were lucky if you could get one!
Great review and explanation of the setup! You can really see the difference in color capture and between the crispness in the C920 versus the slight motion blur of the c270 (still not bad for $20-$30). Amazon is selling the C920 for $70 as of November 2021.

Looking for my first WebCam and it seems like Logitech is the way to go. Your review on the C920 sold me (a little more than I planned to spend). Current price about $70. Problem is WebCams seem to be sold out, if you want to buy from a decent company.
Even Amazon is price gouging now with this product. The standard price has always been under $70. Amazon is now $225. It's against the law.

One additional feature is that the 920 now ships with a shutter which fits over the front of the camera and allows you to physically blank it out to prevent hackers from spying on you. Great review - thanks

I have just ordered this model. Received notification that it has been sent. I have been looking at webcams for ages. Very hard to get the better models at this time. A lot are back ordered. Cost me $250 (Australia). I'll let you know how I get on. I'm in my 60s, not terribly techo, but learning. This video is great.

Great tutorial, only other thing I would point out is at the 3:00 mark when you showed how to mount it on the back of the laptop, instead of angling it against it like you did, you can also flip down that little black piece there and it will lean up against the back and hold it in place as well. Just another tip.

i've been running the C920 for about a year now, and was looking for a solution to turning the camera 45 degrees when my monitor is sitting at 90 degrees, but awesome video bud 🙏
for anyone second guessing grabbing a c920, it's definitely worth it. moreso than more expensive *'premium'* webcams on the market IMO

i mean, i see why you would be disappointed in the lack of sound quality difference between the 2 models, but anyone who is actually wanting high quality sound from the mic is going to buy a separate microphone anyway. putting that aside, i really appreciate this review. very thorough in pointing the features, pros & cons, as well as how to set things up.

4:55 the only difference was 30 and 60 fps(i mean that c270 was lagging a bit whilt c920 was smooth)

Hi, thanks for a great video tutorial! Was on the fence about purchasing a webcam bc I had just purchased a pretty expensive laptop, but the built-in camera isn't so great. I have a couple of questions.
1) A year later, are you still as happy with the C920?
2) I have also purchased a Blue Yeti microphone and I wondered if there's a way to cancel out the C920 mic
to only use the Blue Yeti. I'm thinking it's probably automatic but thought I'd ask.
3) As I wasn't really in the market for a webcam that has a built-in camera (do they all have that now?), I am hesitant to purchase this webcam. Is there another Logitech (or other) comparable webcam you would recommend that provides as good visual quality as the C920?

May I ask what is the difference between a webcam and a stream cam? Can you do the same things on it like work meetings and other things? I 'm torn between the Logitech 920S and the C922...

I bought a new Logitech C920 last week. It works very well for Skype video calls, but I am disappointed that the zoom and pan features that used to work brilliantly on a different setup that I used a couple years ago no longer seem to be supported by the Logitech software. I've read or watched lots of reviews and tutorials, but I have not found a reliable solution for the current hardware versions (March 2020). Does ANYONE know a fix?

If your considering this for a laptop with thin boarders also consider a tripod. My matebook has such small boarders the grips rest onto the display
I'm thinking about getting one instead of a c270 since it's only $20 more

can you disable audio completley on it? what im saying s does it act as a secondary input/output even if your input/output is your headsets.

Gez, your builtin camera was the best I thought.
It was just the size of the video, the smaller video size makes it seem much more high quality, it would be grainier than the c920
When I open the camera settings app with the C920 plugged in, the screen says camera is not ready. This thing still doesn't work for me...
can it work with a Blue podcast mic? how use camera on ligitech and the Blue separate better mic? I am on a MacbookAir? Do I obviously need to freakin dongles to set all up? Help

1) What about the internal stereo mic did you not like? I'm a streaming musician/teacher and wondering if I don't always have to have my Focusrite Scarlett fired up to get acceptable audio.
2) A 925e review said that the mic volume becomes much lower when recording. Is that also the case with the C920?
3) some issue has been made about image reversal (mirroring). Is there a way to override that in settings? As a guitarist, that could be a major problem with my teaching. Thanks!!
since I got this webcam, my mic on the webcam or my hyperx mic has turned to shit. Why is that I've tried many things to help with the new background noise that comes in. any tips would be much appreciated! I have unplugged the webcam and used both of my audio input spots with my hyperx to see if that made any difference. No luck

Super handy review! Thinking about getting one to mount onto something like a desk mic boom to angle over my hands for craft content. Still need to figure out what kind of boom to get that'll connect to it fairly easily though. All this is very new to me lol

Underwhelmed by new iPads but I have always disliked the front facing camera position. My current M1 iPad Pro is a little damaged so I’m thinking of refurbished. Would this WebCam work with iOS17 so that I could replace the ff camera and get video from a preferred position?

Great tutorial. I did have a panic moment when he said to plug it into my computer: no directions as to where. There are many holes in the back but which one? Then I saw a port on the front that seemed to be just the right size so I figured it out by myself. But why make someone guess at all? The rest was great. The download option isn't necessary since that option pops up the minute you plug the camera in.

The c920 works great with Finncast Studio and it will can use 60 frames per second with no lag.

Hey thanks for the guide! I had a computer with a built in camera, but I got an upgrade in the form of the webcam. I gotta fix it a bit as I can only see my chest. My only worry is that the camera might fall off, but other than that, I am good to go!
you can make a better stick on youre pc with the axtra on the back. you just have to flip the anti gripp part so its better used.

I did notice in windows theres an option for sterio recording quality. Default it's on its lowest and you have the option of changing this.

Good morning. This video was very helpful. You mentioned that the quality of the sound for this WebCam is not the best. If I wanted something much better but not crazy expensive, what would you recommend?
Installed it on my computer, but no ability to zoom or pan.
In fact, there's no Camera Settings software. I downloaded the LogiTech G Hub and the LogiTech Capture software.
The former has the Zoom and other tools greyed out, and Capture has no Zoom or Pan options shown.
To be fair your c270 looks pretty good
Hi I have tried to install the 920. But when I go the Logitech web site, the only software it presents me is some p.o.s. called Logitech Hub. I am now stuck with controlling the webcam using the Windows Camera app which does not allow me to access any of teh advanced configuration features, such as manual focus, exposure, white balance, etc.I am running Windows 10 pro 1909. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi, great video thanks! Do you have advice for someone with a MacBook Air that only has USB-C connections? Is the only option to use an adapter to USB? If yes, is there degradation in quality?
