Anyone have any creative ideas on how to mount these to a chassis? Using pipe clamps maybe?

How does the locking cord works ?

Hi there, the tube and the flange each have a half-circle shape around the circumference that line up to form a circular channel. There's a slot that allows you to insert a plastic cord into that channel. The cord blocks the tube and flange from being separated. You can see this around 1:30.
