Another old timer here, 71. Boris Karloff played the original Frankenstein monster, and he was 5'11". It was the prosthetic head makeup and the boots that gave him the height. Other films I will suggest, even tho some are earlier: "M", Mad Love, Metropolis, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, The Incredible Shrinking Man, Bride of Frankenstein, Day of the Triffids, 20 Million Miles to Earth, The Fly and The Time Machine.

Thank you for the recommendations, but I already have a bunch of movies planned, so it will be a while before I'm able to take requests. But I will get to them, that is a promise

There are a few movies titled "M." Which year is the particular "M" you're referring to?

This was one of my fav Sci-Fi films from the 50's. Another was "Invaders From Mars" that's actually in color. Check it out. Good luck on your channel. I was born in 1950. I think I have the perfect blend of 50's morals and 60's hipness.

I fit your time fancy, Born 48 became aware in the fifties. high school in the 60's Beatles into 70's. yeah 9/11 sucked. what they did. Pc's and the internet media came into the nineties. When 2000. came around the world did not end. Interesting changes. A kid who watches 2001 today, will never get how revolutionary it was in the sixties. there is no way for them to know that watching the movie about things that did not exist when it was made. the changes spiral along and are fascinating to watch.

Ye, at 70 +... I absolutely prefer the original mid 50's Sci Fi - radiated ants etc to newish copies. - note the best King Kong is the 1933 Fay Wray version. for 50's flicks - 12 angry men. Giant. On the Beach. Ben Hur.
of course the nutty. ' quick, here come the Nukes, duck under yer desks' came along. my dad had bomb shelter plans on the dining room table. Kennedy murder ( s ) . Beatlemania.
