As you enter through the majestic gateway, be entranced by sculptures showcasing revered saints of Maharashtra and their beloved deity, Shri Hari Vitthal.
Each sculpture within Anand Vihar is a work of art, exuding captivating beauty that immerses visitors in a spiritual oasis. The expansive walkways, lush pastures, captivating structures, serene ambiance, delightful interiors, and immaculate cleanliness collectively transport us to a celestial dreamscape.
Yet, Anand Vihar is not just a visual delight; it serves a higher purpose. In response to water scarcity in Shegaon, Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan took a visionary step. The creation of Anand Sagar Lake, an artificial lake fed by the Man River, aimed to alleviate water shortages. Despite financial challenges, the Sansthan committed to this project, transforming the surrounding area into a blend of spirituality and recreation.
💧Anand Sagar Lake: A Vision for Water Conservation💧
With a monthly expenditure of Rs. 50 Lakh for the lake, the Sansthan faced financial strain, but their dedication to addressing the water crisis persevered. Anand Sagar Lake not only raised the water table in the region but also became a symbol of hope. Developing the lake into a spiritual haven and amusement park for devotees, with nominal donations, showcased a noble vision.

While sharing this remarkable story, we want to inform you that our train from Shegaon to Mumbai is running 7 hours late. Undeterred, we are heading to Shegaon Railway Station at 1 am early morning to continue our exploration. Stay tuned as we document this unexpected twist in our adventure!

व्हिडिओ छान वाटला. आम्ही आत्ताच 24 डिसेंबर रात्रीची शालिमार एक्सप्रेसने शेगाव ला गेलो होतो. जाताना बऱ्यापैकी ट्रेन वेळेत निघाली आणि शेगावला पोहोचली. पण 26 तारखेची आमची सेम ट्रेनची रिटर्न तिकीट होती. संध्याकाळी 6:30 ची गाडी रात्री 9:00 वाजता शेगाव स्टेशन ला आली आणि सकाळी चार च्या ऐवजी ती सकाळी 9:00 वाजता एलटीटी ला पोचली. तुम्ही म्हणाल्याप्रमाणे ती गाडी फक्त धावते ते पण वेळेप्रमाणे नाही. स्वच्छता शून्य. असो. बाकी शेगाव संस्थान मध्ये खूप छान स्वच्छता आणि व्यवस्था आहे
