You have a super survivor. From being in a super drought situation, it survived. This tree deserves your support. Your loving kindness gave this tree a reason to live. I think with your excellent experience, you can make this tree into a masterpiece.
My Japanese boxwood is growing nicely as well. And from what people have said, I was expecting much slower growth. But this year especially, its growing more than I expected. Even the cutting in a seed tray is pushing new growth.
I have a large Japanese Boxwood I am developing into a literati style. I did some heavy pruning about a month ago and have a good flush of growth since then.
🤣🤣 probably but it’s not a pot I’m drawn to . . . so will avoid using it anyways lol, and the chocolate color looked good with the tree IMO so win win- because I don’t feel forced to have to use it now lol
I had about the same amount of growth on my kingsville (i think) boxwood as those j. boxwoods. Repotted it and now its just stopped so i assume its done. 2 ish inches of growth before april is pretty good.

Definitely the structure is looking great BUT I counted my Procumbens . . . and I’m at 9 🫣
Candice you have a gift for this science and have earned my subscription, great job and great video
Thank you! Glad to have you here!
Nice updates Candice. That’s awesome growth on your burning bush and boxwoods. Good luck with the juniper. Thanks, keep growing
Thanks for checking in Matt ❤️
Nice to see warm weather sounds breezy cheers 😮
This was followed by 10 days 20f and snow 🤣
Another great video by Bonsai Master Candice

Yeah they are way faster it seems then other varieties
I prefer the chocolate oval, makes the juniper's green color pop more.
YES VREAT CHOICE
I like them both. Round pot gives you the option to change the front later on 🙂
I like that pot so it’s good it’s going into auction in the chocolate one 🤣
@@Candice.BonsaiScience 👍😆
I would have tried it in the circle pot might look good in that.
👍👍
Great video Candice
I love that pot . . . it’s good it’s not in it and going to auction 🤣
@@Candice.BonsaiScience good luck with it hope it make you a millionaire 👍👍

Another useful and informative video Candice. Cheers (I actually repotted 2 of my ailing junipers today)
Can’t wait to see them!
@@Candice.BonsaiScience I am just editing them now. I forgot to turn the microphone around again on the camera - I am such an airhead!
Lol
I don’t have a mic to forget to turn on so that’s good 🤣
You should have repotted that juniper into a plastic pot if you're selling it anyway. I should be on the shark tank! 🤣🤣

Sounds to me like you are just a generous person. I'd be selling it in a margarine tub! 🤣

Yes that’s what my kingsville generally put out also ❤️
Maybe I missed it, but was you boxwoods kept in a cold frame, or inside the house?
All my non Tropicals are kept in a cold room in my house.
@@Candice.BonsaiScience Would it work to keep them in an unfinished basement in zone 4?
