Soaps are packed with both ludicrous and realistic storylines, side by side. In this one, we never actually heard a clear diagnosis in Jackson's case. The nature of his spinal injuries was not spelt out. So a way towards ... hope was in fact left open. Plus, as I've mentioned before, there is evidence now of breakthroughs in this area. Whether or not these will be producing results any time soon, real people want to know about research and new treatments. Why not Jackson - or Aaron - or Hazel?
I find Jackson way more convincing than Aaron. Danny still seems to be umcomfortable with his role whereas Marc is just awesome at portraying the turbulence that the mixture of love, anger and fear causes inside Jackson. He makes you understand what one goes through after such a life-changing experience. Meanwhile, I am not in the same way able to comprehend, what a partner goes through at the same time.
Does anyone else fear that Jackson will turn to his dad to help him end things? Aaron and Hazel love him, and don't want to live in a world without Jackson. But I don't think Jerry see things the same way...
@AlanRM1000 It would be within reason that those are thoughts that someone would deal with after experiencing such a loss of abilitiy. Not everyone and it is tv land, but their performances have been dynamic.
This show just keeps digging itself into a deeper hole. I just hope somehow Jackson survives this whole ordeal. Even if he has to move away for treatment for awhile, I hope they don't kill him off. Would send a horrible message to handicapped and homosexual people alike. Let's not repeat the same mistakes as ATWT please.

@jarabaa You are so right!!! Just as someone else had previously stated..ED said really NOTHING about the actual prognosis of his injury...was his spinal cord COMPLETELY severed? That would explain why they are insistent that Jackson will not get better. I will be completely devastated if they have J commit suicide. It would b ludicrous to kill off such a well received character. They would be stupid to let Marc Silcock go..only to let some other soap pick up this brilliant actor!!
This going to make me cry when i see this.I love Jackson his so sad and depressed and wants to die.I am glad Aaron sees the video.So he can see how sad Jackson really is.All this is going to heartbreaking.Jackson aka Marc is such a wonderful actor.Aaron oh the tears i started crying.The kiss was so sweet the looks they gave each after the kiss was so lovely.This the first i seen the boys in bed with each other they both looked weird but Aaron looked happy just to be laying next to Jackson.
Once again amazing acting and i dont care what you say about them not being close it is a bit difficult for them so as aaron would put it "do one" coz i believe u will not find two more amazing actors xx
@AllStater09 The story has been poorly written, developed, and at times acted, so it doesn't have the emotional impact that it should have. Danny'd decision that Aaron wouldn't show any intimacy towards Jackson for months was a poor one, and one that left the story at a standstill. So, it's hard to see these two as a real couple, or feel the emotional connection that they are supposed to have.

Believe me, this is the most realictic you get in soapland (I tell u cos you said to me the other day you don´t watch the others people mention on here). We just have to watch epi per epi, step by step, I´m sure it´s going to be well done enough, as they have done to date. Having spoilers on mind months before it actually happens it´s no good for being impartial

@babybelle32a I don't actually think the intimacy is the problem. Danny just can't pull off being in love with Jackson. With Marc, I believe his character is in love… Even though there's hardly any intimacy. (Which, you know, can be blamed on the show and we sadly got used to concerning gay characters.) Other shows also have little to no intimacy but manage to pull off "being in love", at least, because there is chemistry. But with Aaron, I don't feel ANY of it. The writing doesn't help.
the only reason i gave this a thumbs up is because the situation is all too real, and I know DAnny and marc will hit their marks right out of the park - but the storyline is way too tragic its almost unbearable to watch.

Then they think the realistic and honest storylines like this one are the unrealistic ones just cos they are not making out in front of the camera! Ridiculous argument imo! :)

I mean when they were sharing the bed, instead of maintaining a distance couldn't Aaron be more close to him..That kind of gesture would actually change the way Jackson is thinking..!!!..I love Danny-Marc, but its high time they let their guard down and be more realistic..Its been more than a year they have been playing gay characters..

you know it is a soap but this storyline is so tragic and heartbreaking it is hard to watch but it is real and thats why I LOVE it!!!!
