This is the best version of hiya Godzilla and it’s not even close

I have this guy in hand and while they could've restocked the others and not produce this version, I'm glad he was made cause he looks great. And if Hiya continues to listen to customer feedback, this will be the last time we see a vanilla godzilla
This to me is better than the previous version (I mean the 2021 and 2019) of the figure, the eyes have simple but great improvement
This is awesome, but Im perfectly happy with my 2019 version. The paint job on mine is not overly done, and the eyes are gorgeous. It's cool that we have these different repaints. Hopefully, Hiya will do different Godzillas. I would love a Burning Godzilla and a Final Wars one.
so what they're doing alot of repaints, u dont have to collect them all and all it really means is they're able to make more godzillas for people who want it and in turn - higher - hence "hiya" quality for the rest of the figures :)
A third vanilla repaint of the same mold is starting to become a bit much. They could easily just restock previous versions as there is still high demand from people who don’t have any of their figures yet, instead of giving people a brand new release and get people excited only for minimal updates. If we’re going to criticize SH MonsterArts for their lazy repaints, then Hiya will be overdue for the same criticisms if they keep going down this road.

I don't know the logic behind this, mate. Hiya is just filling the gaps to profit out of this line. This might be the end of the line for now since there will be no more new movies. So two things will happen
1. They will now start to do reissue and just that. No updates from the largest to smallest of problems (Like what SHMA would do)
2. Reissue old one and update them.
I don't really get this stance of yours for being tired of these repaints. They are just doing what SHMA did but with a shorter time frame because they are new to the game. And it's not like these Minor updates doesn't help at all.

This is just how Toy companies compete with each other. Newer is better. And it's not like Hiya is giving us some crap like "Godzilla Night version exclusive" or "Gatorade Godzilla" and is still fragile and have the same problem from their first entry.
Let me ask you this. Would you rather buy a Highly articulated Repaint toy BUT it cost more, lazy paint apps, fragile, didn't updated and still have the same problem as before.
OR... A reissue/repaint, not as articulated BUT cost less, updated the toy to their own capacity for their mold without compromising or ruining the design, better details, better paint apps, doesn't explode to a million pieces when dropped.
What you said to our last argument is that you want them to overhaul the joints. And that's not gonna happen, mate. Changing the mold like that will cost them thousands. That is why Tamashii won't update this line. A overhaul for the slightest thing is expensive for them. It's not like they needed it. Hiya godzilla is good enough as it is.

once they're gone, they gone. yeah learned it in a hard way. i just started collecting gman figs (i chose hiya over sh cuz theyre cheap and have great details) and oh boy almost paid twice (seller was kind enough to lower it to $60 ea)for burning and translucent hahaha i missed 2014 p.o but i managed to secure pre evolved, evolved and energized p.o slot at local shop haha

@@timspence2328 it basically means that the company has sold all of its stock and you cannot order either from them or whatever distributor you order from, so you'd be left to the claws of the after market (which can be a lot pricier, but if you keep an eye some figures are sometimes sold for around MSRP or even slightly lower if used, although rare)

@@timspence2328 sadly it's not a joke. they reissue default gvk godzilla but the rest of their monsterverse fig didn't receive the same treatment. if you found 60-70 after market price it's better to get it and don't take any chances on hoping for a reissue.
Hey Steven, I did want to point out a very minor sculpt change on this Godzilla and the heat ray translucent one. Long story short the neck is ever so slightly thinner and allows for just a touch more possibility. This change is so small it took an Instagram post to point it out to me.
This detail I think just makes it look like Godzilla is having his neck more outstretched rather than him flexing and shrugging. But again, this change is barely noticeable and maybe they could have changed the ball joints in the neck if they wanted an actually noticeable articulation improvement. Not sure if one look is more screen accurate over the other, I think it just depends on the screenshot or render you look at.
Anyway love the video and I might just get this reevolved Godzilla just because the paint looks so good compared to the KOTM one I have.

I just got one of these Godzillas a couple days ago. I couldn’t be more satisfied with it!
The point is I rather have these Godzillas rather than any other Godzilla figures available.
Can't wait to add him to the clan/tribe of Gojis that I'm creating just like other complete collectors as well.

I’m excited for this one. I have the updated Godzilla from 2021 which has a darker tone and the reeeeeeeeeeevolved Godzilla has a lighter color.
Hey Steve! I have a suggestion that could make your reviews a tad bit better in my opinion. When your talking about day the teeth and the camera is on say the spikes it makes it a little hard to know what your talking about. My suggestion, whatever you are talking about it should be on the camera and then move to what your talking about next after your done talking about the specific thing! Have a nice day

I gotcha on that and I have for a while, but at a point I came up with my script/thoughts and when I make my points together and how they flow sometimes they don't add to a, say, reasonable amount of time a certain shit should be on screen. For example, if I mention the eyes and criticize them for multiple seconds, say 50, I can't have the same footage on the screen for that amount of time, it has to keep moving.
I understand where you're coming from and am cognizant of it, trying to improve, but that's my struggle with it.
This figure is gonna release on my birthday so im definitely picking this one up.

Edit: also, sh made many repaints of MV Godzilla within 5 years. HIYA on the other hand made just as much if not more repaints of MV Godzilla in ONE year. Very different considering how many years it took shma to make a bunch of repaints and hiya makes a bunch in one year. Between all the repaints, shma released a bunch of non repaint figures as well. Hiya also did, but not as many, mostly just repaints.
Eh at least their base mold looks good.

SHMA GxK Godzilla (Repaint): Repaint, Same problems, Cost more.
Let that be known that for 5 years, that's the status quo of SHMA in the Monsterverse lineup "Repaints"
Hopefully this is the last time that Hiya reuses this mold for a vanilla Monsterverse Godzilla release. If they want to release another vanilla MV Godzilla figure, it better have more substantial updates.
@@windowsVD That's pretty high demanding of you considering SHMA care less about these updates to be even called a Competition and the Figure being already Leagues better than SHMA aside from Articulation.
Their competitor are too lazy to even make them work harder. I can't think of something else that would make this figure even better. But they will obviously do something new, just a little bit when the dog water Monarch comes out and tells story about some lesbians and another family problems.
Now don't Isolate this "Repaint" problem as if it's Hiya's the only Culprit. SHMA will do the same with this version of Godzilla with every Repaint of the new Evolved Godzilla be $140. And you'll bet your back that if the SHMA Evolved Godzilla had a qc issue, it will remain for the rest of the line up. Just like this Godzilla mold.
@@quack9355 It's not, they've milked this mold enough by this point. When customers complained about the ugly neck gaps and jaw hinge on their original GvK release, they actually addressed those criticisms according to feedback. Hiya has proven that they are willing to listen to feedback, which is good for us but only if we keep providing it to help keep them in check. Being loosey-goosey with a company just because their primary competitor is way worse is a form of whataboutism and is going to help ensure that they will eventually adopt some of the same bad habits as their competitor sometime down the line. Never forget that these companies are in the business of making money, they are not your friend. Do not develop brand loyalty, it is of no benefit to us customers.
Don't get me wrong, when it comes to the Hiya vs. SHMA debate, I'm definitely on team Hiya. But giving them a healthy dose of criticism when it's deserved is needed to keeping them from getting lazy like SHMA, especially if SHMA continues to go downhill with no one to give Hiya healthy competition.

My very last Hiya Godzilla will be the Evolved Godzilla, and that's the Monsterverse. If I get another Godzilla from Hiya, maybe it'll be a Godzilla that's Not from the Monsterverse.
I want a 89 Goji and If possible (Hopefully) a Shin Goji in there and 98 Goji.

If I was invested in this version of Goji, what I see here is something I would purchase immediately. Still crossing fingers for a Minus Goji announcement because I'm already sick of seeing Monsterverse over and over from Hiya even if they nailed the sculpt and articulations from the looks of it.
This is what I’ve been saying it’s pretty good but people have been getting mad at monster arts for releasing the same 6 molds for ever 4 years but hiya has been releasing the same 7 mold in under 2 years
The difference is Hiya has been making actual adjustments whereas Tamashii Nations.... hasn't.
