Cy-Fair ISD teacher being investigated after slavery lesson

A parent said she got a call from her daughter saying the teacher made comments in class about the Confederate flag that made her feel uncomfortable.
The girl is the only Black student in the class, according to the mother.

I had to take history class and part of the semester in middle school, Jr High and High school I had to learn about slavery!!!! Nothing racist was ever said....part of history
