ben schwartz was actually considered for a role on the show before jean ralphio, so there’s a pretty good chance they wrote it for him!

@@oakleyraverty1030 basically, If I'm right, people pay accountants to do their books for them. Some business owners might not be good at balancing statements or reporting numbers. So the firm might be filled with accountants who do that

@@oakleyraverty1030 it's the same concept as a doctor having their own doctors. Except for accountants, they *could* do their own bookkeeping/budgeting/taxes. But they could be too focused on their clients' finances that their own
7:53 You know why Dr. Saperstein was so spiteful towards Tom? He knows he's a failure of a parent, he knows his kids are degenerates, and he's known for years. Tom enables Jean-Ralphio and Mona-Lisa the same way he did as a parent, and Tom's involvement forced him to confront his failures. So, of course he hates Tom, Tom's preventing him from ignoring something he knows full well he can't fix and is a reminder of his mistakes.
This is too deep for the saperstein characters’ arcs in parks and rec but if i had to deeply analyze it it would be a really cool way to view it
