The gladiators only look good with the bigger tires and a lift kit !!!!!!
Thomas Lauria what truck does that not apply to?
Smarter Than You
The raptor! The big trucks, taco, frontier, and ranger look ok from factory. But gladiator looks horrendous.
Everything looks better with a lift and big tires...lol
Amen!
100% agree, thats the first thing i would do, lifted on 35 or 37's looks great
The Gladiator looks sick with those wheels and tires.
The Mopar Lift is available also. Better quality than Junk Country.
I agree I was just looking at the mopar lift on one yesterday. it looked great.
Ur an idiot
I love the look of the Gladiator. I agree they NEED lifted. The lift made it look just a bit nose high. When I get one I'd like a little rake as I do occasionally haul things for my neighbors and friends.
I will be dropping my Jeep off at the JP shop on the 15th for them to do a gear swap and check out a squeak I have since I got it lifted
Awesome ! This Jeep Looks so much better than stock 👍🏻
I love how that guy is chill. Man, I like techs like that.
The sway bar ends are too short. I've seen sway bar flips off road too many times for that reason. Lots of lifts now available for the Gladiator.
Love the build! I personally dont like 20's on the wheels but this wheel looks great they look alot smaller because of the two tone... I love them! Great job guys!
Looks fantastic!
The exhaust inspection question doesn’t apply on a truck. It has to extend past the body on other vehicles because the cabin can’t have exhaust fumes in it. Truck bed doesn’t have the same issue. So the exhaust would have to extend just slightly past where the cab and bed meet.
I was wondering about that thanks for clarifying it.
Thanks for pointing out on the passenger side you “have” to remove that break line plate I did this lift last night and that was the biggest struggle to get that nut under that bump stop
Is that Rammstein I hear in the background?
To be fair...this is a Sport S model...(it has power locks & windows)...nice build out!
Damn those wheels make it look like it had more side wall on the tire i like it
Looking good 👍🏻 That’s how we do it. My JL has a 2” lift & 35” Duratracs ... balanced setup IMO. Unless you have a dedicated rock crawler, then 37s+ are pointless.
Watch for
Rust on the rust country leveling kit. I went with Super Lift after returning my rusty stuff to Rust Country .
air brakes off hellcat damn! that is bad ass, sp if running big tires or towing.
“Would you just look at it?!” 😂🤣😂🤣
🤣😆
So basically all you have to do for the spacer is to disconnect the sway link? I’m gonna put a 2.5” spacer in mine, I have the max tow so it should look good.
That's awesome looking
Looking great
EVO Mfg has several 2.5 bolt on full lifts available. Waiting on delivery of a stage 4 now. May take it JP shop to have it put on since I am going to be in Philly area
I like it! Keep me posted!
Spends $45K on a Jeep
Installs the cheapest "lift" on the market...
SMH
Offroad evolution has 2.5 up to 6.5 in lift for them. They had them for awhile
Came to see a lift kit install, left because it’s rough country
It was the customer’s choice. Come back for more in the future. 😉
Ur a broke batch that can't any lift
@@shanewilfon6860 you can’t even speak proper English. And for your information, I’ve got a lift on my rig. It’s Rock Krawler. One of the top name brands out there. Because I want a quality ride with quality components that don’t need to be replaced within a year. But I’ll bet you’ve got a crap rough country lift as well with sagging springs and blown out shocks. Bet that’s working great for you
wrong!!!!!!!! EVO has a lift already for the Gladiator and it's not a weak spacer one from Rough Country. Plus MOPAR had a lift ready from day one.
Yup, I agree, EVO makes great stuff. This is what the customer wanted. This wasn’t my Jeep & this video is older.
That blk jeep is nice air falcon shocks never seen that. Hate blk but it is real nice.
I wonder if a 3.5 lift with 35s looks fine???
Thats what I'm buying for my gladiator
Awesome, massive difference, how will it go off-road
Wasn’t mine, so I don’t how it performs, but the owner definitely gained some height.
@Cheap Jeeper, with 20” wheels? Like a turd.
rrr70 they are 17s dumbass
@@pondworks_la3674 no, they're 20s. The black outer section makes them look smaller, but they're 20s. Who's the dumb one now?
Does this 2.5 in lift kit maintain the suspension geometry?
I am looking at getting 37s and doing the 3 inch lift and gear up to 5.13 I am wondering what I will lose in towing capacity? I got the Gladiator Sport Max Tow rated at 7650 and my camper is 6800
I’m bouncing back & forth between 4.88’s & 5.13’s... Going to regear this summer.
What brand/size lift kit do you recommend for 35 inch tires on a gladiator? I’m leaning towards the rough country 3.5 but I know there’s better options im just not sure which one to go with.
3.5” JKS J-Venture Lift Kit
If you really need the rear open bed then more power. If not your better off with a unlimited. More cargo room combined and everything covered and secured. Once you start piling shit in the backseat because the rear bed is unsecured, then you know....even with a tonneau cover it’s still a pain...then you really know...time to trade it in.
You gonna drop in a Hellcat motor?
Timothy Crank haha so many people are doing that now, should of been like that from factory
just got one from jeff d ambrosio jeep and am going to do the same exact thing to it
Congrats! Be sure to contact the Jp Shop for all the parts, accessories & installs. 610-458-1977 thejpshop.net/
When working on the suspension, you should thighten everything when the truck is on the ground.
We did
@@BEASTProjects 🤙
Is it me ? It looks like the rear is now after leveling kit 1/2 to 1” lower .?
How did you tighten down the bottom nut on the passenger side bump stop with that spacer lift from rough country.
5:00 engel by rammstein 💟💟💟💟 i love jeep gladiator 👍👍👍👍
So do you have to do an alignment with that kit ? Some say you don’t
You do
Wasn’t expecting a gift at 5:00am.
Oops lol
😂
I saw one on the road yesterday and I was just like no!!!! Why NO!!!!! lol.
Is the leveling kit just for the front or do you need one for the rear?
So, how does it pull with the new tires ?
Great looking JT! Question. Do you know how tall it is now? Wondering if I do this will it still fit in my garage? Thanks for the video!
It went back to the dealership & has since been sold.
You said it was a Gladiator JL it’s a JT 😂
Caught that.... haha
Didnt the rims get scrashed while mounting the yires?
No
No just the way the soap looks when it's on wheels
Ah
You think I can put same lift with 35s factory rims?
Don't see why not, however I believe that the JK's needed wheel spacers.
why are so many against jeeps other than fca
Good question, Gary..
I am new to lifting kits. I'm sorry if this is a noob question, but i'd assume you would need only 1 kit for the front so that the height matches the rear suspension. Is this correct?
All kits are different, depends how high you are going. Some just have front leveling spacers, some have both front & rear.
@@BEASTProjects I would probably do what you did in the video. 2.5 inch leveling kit so I can put 35" tires on.
Yes, for a Gladiator. You have to do some minor plastic trimming on the front fender.
@@BEASTProjects I think I'll have it installed for me for peace of mind! Thanks!
If you’re local? If so, hit the Jp Shop up.
What was the total cost for the job. I'm getting a Gladiator and want to do the same thing
Contact the Jp Shop for a quote. thejpshop.net
I'm in Los Angel's though
Like 3500
how much did this lift and wheels cost?
Contact the Jp Shop for a quote.
Not bad unit. I'd nvr get one lol
Correction. The Gladiator is not a JL it is a JTu. We purchased a fully loaded Gladiator Rubicon and absolutely love it.
Yup, caught that right after I uploaded the video lol
How much was that setup?
Contact the Jp Shop at 610-458-1977 for a quote.
Those rims are hideous. The jeep looks awesome though.
U had me saying nooo, when u said that about beast. Im a fan of Jeep but definitely not a fan of the gladiator.
Keep up the videos! :)
Nope
Where is this JP shop.
Chester Springs, PA
VOIDED THE WARANTY. LOOK NICES
Lift kit does not void the warranty unless the dealership can prove that the aftermarket part caused the failure being claimed. Read the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
Boo, thought they were going to lift it, not spacer it.
Keep watching or check out some of my later videos for different lifts. We’ve done JKS since & more to come.
Jeep trucks are hideous
Not when compared against Chevy...
