Instructor: Dori DiPietrio (Director of the Social Work Program, MCC)
DiPietrio and her class examine a sample case study of a woman named Florence to identify 3 of her personal strengths and developing an intervention to address her current social distress from a micro, mezzo (middle) and macro perspective.
I may like to tank Mrs mesacc for acknowledge me with a social work intervention in my new life carrier.
I am reviewing for my LBSW exam and this video really was a good refresher. After watching this video I came to realize how much work do the teachers really put in for the students to learn and understand.
'' I came to realize''...................... please did you want to say ''I have come to realize''.
It can be tough to translate text book knowledge to real world application...thanks for your video
I took two of her classes in Fall of 2018 semesters. She was a great teacher.

Thank you so much for this video. I attend another MSW school but this really helped me to understand these systems.

Very nice and educative. Superb.
If there is a ‘flower’ design that Berns used that demonstrates the interconnectivity between the levels. The ecological model is Urie Bronfrenbenner’s work.
Great explanation
super explanation !
I think with ethnicity, I wouldn't say genetic predisposition is important because there is no data that can prove this. The reason is that if you grouped people that identify by an ethnicity and measured their physical or genetic attributes. The variance within groups is always greater than variance between groups.
Ethnic identities on health can be predicted through social determinants. These determinants show certain people are more vulnerable to the structural oppression than others.
Better than my professor explanation.thanks
This is great. I've got an idea of how to teach my students about this topic. Can I be in your class? hehe
I guess this is similar to an ecological approach, Bronfenbrenner. Right?
