- Worked extra hard to make this video and I hope you all enjoy, I ranked all of the Ring heroes by strength, versatility and uniqueness compared to their basic forms.

Also huge respect for the hustle, you said it took you over two hours to get all the heroes the Ring and I totally believe you (except Sauron, you always get that in the first minute somehow).
Thanks mate, in total it took me 6 hours to make this video, it is definitely the most effort and time I have put into making a video in my 5 years on CZcams. And I already have more videos like this on the way

Though you're wrong on one point : You get to chose which version of Saruman you get. It depends on wether you have the skill "Saruman of Many Colors" or not.
If you don't have it you get lightning version of Saruman, and if you have, then you get the fire one !
Thanks, try getting a save game and giving saruman the ring over and over again, I have had the cursed and blessed come up randomly not considering the many colours power, the only time it guarentees a form for saruman is if he is on the shire map and you give him the ring but that is an easter egg to only that map and saruman of many colours
This ranking videos are so popular atm on yt and so Intresting. You should rank also every unit and heroes of each faction ;)

Nice list! Personally I think that its also worth a lot, if your Ring Hero is strong when getting the Ring early on in the game. Boromir can just give you such a strong army and instantly gets level 10. If you have Denethor, you'll even get your equipped Army for half the prize and in much shorter time.
Oh and you could add Alatar and Pallando as Ring heroes to the list, since you can get them with Edain Mods Submod Edain Unchained, when playing the faction of Harad. They are also really cool, I'm not sure where I'd put them in your list, probably somewhere in the upper middle :)
Look forward to the comepletly overpowered Witchking Ringhero in the next official Edain Version, not only will he be able to freeze your army, he will also be able turn it into wights and so some other stuff :D
Thanks mate, early ring heroes can make an enemy scared and change their strategy to work around that. I had not considered the blue wizards from the harad faction because i havent seen a thing from the submod xD but it is interesting to see the changes being done to angmar, may be worth taking them into account if i made any videos directly talking about angmar

I like age of the ring more cause it has a bit more content but Edain does way more interesting and better heroes in my opinion
I agree there is alot in aotr, but ive found quite a bit of it is more flavour than value
I only prefer AoTR because it's more stable and easier to get running for friends lol

Mostly agree but like you did with Saruman, you should have done with Galadriel. Since she can choose which form to suit the situation, I would say she is higher.
I was tempted to do that with galadriel but her 2 forms were a bit more unique that one was pure support and the other was damage, so I split them up and saw them as two different ring heroes like with Gandalf and theoden
@@Naodline2627 Yeah I understand the reasoning. It is the additional powers from her powertree add to her higher ranking, at least in my eyes
@@happywheeler4268 she does have alot of importance to her faction also if you take the ring after using either of the two powers she will become that form without the choice
@@Naodline2627 one last thing Nadoline, from a lore perspective, shouldn’t Sauron and Gandalf the White be the most powerful beings to wield the One Ring?
@@happywheeler4268 true, but the idea of anyone else being strong enough to carry the ring was not properly looked upon, a being like saruman in certain representations has been believed to be another who could challenge sauron if he has the ring and that's why he pursued it
Also, why not instead of ranking everything, doing a DETAILED showcase of EVERY hero in the mod (like even pippin should have his own video of how he impacts the faction he's on etc...) Would be cool. I'm still also willing to help making those if you need demonstrations against other units. unlike AI I do what you ask lol
Thanks, I actually have a plan for things like that, gonna start small because alot of time needs to get put into these videos (thinking of giving small tips on how to use everything for a certain faction)

I'd make gandalf the white higher just for the fact that his lvl 10 power now instakills basicly everything. But I get it's your personal list :D
True Gandalf the challenge master has got alot of power with one ability but he mostly got up so high because of his passive leadership and healing aura, he is still a big target for things like trolls
Saruon on Bfme 2 patch 1.09 would destroy the one from Edain mod, plus Saruon on edain sucks so much that it require multiple hits to kill a battle wagon and i already seen this, 3 4 battle wagon almost kill Saruon cuz he was stuck for some reason and having under 8k hp is a yikes
Ring hero sauron in edain isnt made to kill single targets, he excels at clearing large groups plus he should always be with an army of orcs because he gives them constant regeneration just for being near him
@Naodline Mhhm I see and understand this, but yeah everything you said is true, like pikes units can melt within few seconds the dwarves wagon and is ok that and didn't know he give regeneration I probably didn't notice that, has I would only see the work of the banners to regrow the battalion
@@loonowolf2160 that is why sauron is in my opinion the best ring hero, he is all around good able to complement the mordor roster perfectly when used in tandem with an army, on his own he is much less frightening
