For payasam we don't add ginger powder it's cardamom powder.

Sryyyy to say but neyappam requires a lot of practice and it should be of perfect measurements...and also in payasam you should add cardomom powder and a pinch of salt no ginger powder not only in payasam but in each and ever swt u should add a pinch of salt to balance the swtness.....lots of luv for you ❤

Here in Sylhet, Bangladesh its called handesh pitha❤the recipe is exactly same just we add greated coconut instead of roasted

Ginger powder is alternative for ginger
Hi actually it's dry ginger powder which is added in the recipe. We call it sukku podi .
U can also add cardamom powder
