- It's finally here! A stop motion recreation a year in the making. I was reasonably happy with how most of this turned out, aside from a few lighting, movement and timing issues. But I was starting to lose my motivation to keep working on the project and ultimately I decided to finish it in this current state. Hope you enjoy!

The animation is so good how did u do the part where Dooku force flies Obi Wan. Also that is a stellar set for the battle

I have to say this is far better what I did. The movement is very fluent and its really well done. Also the set is very accurate and I like what you did with the ships. Very well done
TBH your one is pretty good, you've done everything pretty well but what I would say is have a higher frame rate and try and mask out the transparent piece and also steady the camera a bit more. But practice makes perfect

@@bogney awe thank you! And I deffinatly have gotten better throughout the year as you can see with my newest one. But still. This film is the best recreation of this scene by far. (Also sorry for late response, just now seeing this :D)
I would recommend getting a camera/iPhone mount, and use colored paper as green screen for backgrounds.
Also, if possible, make the entire scenery.

This is great looking. When you shoot these, do you take two pictures for each frame, or one? The movement looks fluid enough for two, but do you switch to one picture per frame during the light saber duels?
For this animation, everything was one picture for each frame at 15fps. I was tempted to mix it up, but it just worked for me haha
Hadden Mellors Not to patronize you, or belittle your style, but shooting two pictures each take can often provide more fluid motion. If you watch Forrestfire101, that's the tip that he's given out

This is amazing, i love the details you put even in changing the expresions on the minifigs, the little sparks on the lightsabers clashing, the fluent movement, the way the lightsabers light up. This is by far the greatest lego star wars stop motion i've seen, so keep up the good job and well done
What minifigure's head did you use?
I guess that Anakin's head here is a part 3626bpb0402. The same part appears in Naboo pilot minifigure from 9674 set.
