- With Disney Dreamlight Valley becoming "Free to Play" this year, it's going to get harder to get moonstones as they are going to start costing REAL money to buy AND it's going to be more difficult to collect the new weekly items in the Premium Shop. Don't worry though, I have a solution and I'll give you some quick tips & tricks on how to collect moonstones without have to pay "real" money for them in this video.

I just don't think it's fair that for people like me that paid 80 dlls for this game we still have to spend more money for those premium items. There should be a way to grind for moon stones other than just be limited to getting 50 a day. At least for accounts that supported the game from the beginning and really want to collect all we can.

@Chelia Crossing and the game has done very well at listening to people, so maybe, just maybe, if we ask for it we could have a way to grind for moonstones. But do I send an email? Or how can I contribute if there is already like a thing voting or asking for that?

I’m thinking because since the game is going to be ‘free to play’ later this year, they have to entice the community somehow to get them to ‘pay’ for the game and make money. I only wish they would give all the players, that paid for early access, a bunch of free moonstones or we should be able to convert star coins to moonstones when the game does become ‘free to play’ so we can have the advantage in the new premium store to purchase what we want. I mean we are basically their ‘game testers’ … we deserve something extra for that, I think.
The chests should give us at least 200! I swear Disney is doing everything to get money! But damn I love this game
I do too! DreamSnaps are becoming a chore for me but I still do them for the extra moonstones. lol
You are only supposed to get 1 blue and 1 green chest a day, sometimes you can get 2 if you skipped a day. If you are getting more than 1 everyday, it's a bug and I would say milk it till it's gone XD Because they are definitely gonna get rid of that bug when they find out about it.

The star path is basically free with bonus moonstones on it so it's really worth it to buy and grind it

I didn’t do the Wall-E bundle.
I will have to probably buy moonstones to do the Ursula bundle.

I feel you! And honestly, you’re not missing anything by not having the Wall-E bundle. It was cute but it wasn’t worth the moonstones
How are you getting 2 or 3 blue chests per day?😅 I get one per day. If I get a second chest then I don’t get one the next day
I have no idea! The 3rd one might be a fluke but I’m def getting 2. I’ve noticed that sometimes they are hiding behind things and I almost miss them.
you are still out moonstones if you go ahead and pay for the star path because it costed 2500. more like build the moonstones up and dont pay for the path if you cant live without the items. theres a lot of filler in those with the motifs etc
Do you think when we get multiplayer that players will be able to trade furniture? If that is the case maybe save your purchases to just house skins and clothing?

I've seen other CZcamsrs and now you saying that you can turn in star path tokens for the 90 moonstones and that it's a great buy. It's not. When you buy the 2500 moonstone star path, you get just enough tasks to buy every reward. Once you do that you are left with 0 tokens and are unable to buy those 90 moonstones. The only way you have 100 starpath tokens to exchange for the 90 moonstones is if you buy the 3500 moonstone premium star path which starts you off with 100 tokens. So basically the 100 tokens are a head start or a safety net incase you are unable to finish all of the tasks in time to buy all of the rewards. IF you finish all of the tasks you are left over with the same 100 tokens they started you with, which you paid 1000 moonstones for, at 100 moonstones per 10 tokens. When you buy those 90 moonstone packs at the end you are actually LOSING. You paid 100 moonstones per 10 tokens. They are giving you back 90 moonstones per 10 tokens. I would only suggest buying the 3500 moonstoone star path IF you are a newish player who maybe isn't too far into the game because you may have some trouble finishing all of the tasks. OR if you are a casual player who doesn't log on daily and even then, I'm not sure if it's worth it because we usually have a little over a month to finish. With the Amusement Park Star Path it WAS worth buying the more expensive star path because they had it on sale for 3300 moonstones but they still gave the 90 moonstones. So we actually made a little extra there. If they keep this way, then I would totally say get it, but not at 3500/90.
Sorry for the long explanation but, I've been hearing this too often and it's just incorrect. The 2500 premium star path is TOTALLY worth it because you do get 1910 back within that rewards. So you are basically paying 590 moonstones for all of those rewards. And if you log in everyday for 30 days you get 1500 moonstones. So that star path is basically free. We just don't have much left over for those premium goodies unfortunately.
I love your explanation! It totally makes sense. I’m not purchasing any moonstones with real money, so getting the 3500 path is worth it to me since I already saved up previously. I do love that they discounted it for the new star path too! Thanks so much for your feedback 💗
It doesn't go across platforms. I'm on PC and have it on switch I can't use my moonstone from the switch with my PC and I use cloud save
You can't keep cashing 10 syarpoint for 90 moonstones. That only works onces. When you have done al those two task you won't get new onces. There are just enough task in a starpath to get every reward
You should have around 6 duties left for around 100 tokens. You can only cash those in for moonstones, but that’s still a good many. you’re absolutely correct about the fact that once you run out of duties, and used all the tokens, you can’t get any more moonstones through the event tab. I feel like, in past events, we could claim a lot more though…

However, I have since learned from MrStarInSky (here on YT) that you can purchase 100 tokens for whatever star path at a discount. For example, the current Disney parks star path, you purchase 100 tickets for 800 moonstones instead of 1000 moonstones. Then you immediately sell it back by clicking on the final tab of the rewards page. You get back 90 moonstones for every 10 tickets. You end up with more moonstones than what you started. 😊
I finished all my quests and I don’t have enough moonstones. Right now I’m collecting the blue chest. I can only find one. I have only 170 The only thing I bought in the beginning was the castle and the furniture. :(

the cloud save thing crose platform save after you buy moonstones and then transfer to a nother sistem with cloud save it dose work im from laptop to switch all the time cuse i work and this is how i know it works same with up grading game and you got delux or ultiment it all stays and works just trust me ive done it enuff times to know

I only get one blue chest a day unless I miss a day and I will have the extra blue chest from that day I missed the next day.
I always get 2 a day for sure. The 3rd one may have been a fluke.
If you dont watch your amount for moonstones they will give you 50 moonstones and the next day your amount can be down by 30 moonstones. I have been trying to get moonstones for 3 days!

How did u get all those extra tokens? Every star path, when I finished, there was only 10 extra tokens. I would love to get that many extra tokens
If you have enough moonstones to buy the premium path, you get extra tokens. I don't think the game works like it did back when I made this video and I believe they updated this. But like I said, if you can afford the premium star path, do it. it's worth it.
@@CheliaCrossing I tested this back then and the premium starpath cost more than what you would earn back for trading in the tokens. So it cost moonstone to earn it that way lol
@lostprophet4303 lol it’s been so long ago that I don’t even remember the testing I did on it. It was no big deal back then because I had hoarded so many moonstones without paying for them. I think I took the path that was discounted too. Not sure though 🤔
@@CheliaCrossing the cheaper starpath would only allow 10 leftover tokens and still does to this day. The premium path left more tokens by the end but you would be able to earn back enough of the moonstone to cover the cost of the premium path
did you buy the expensive star path?
I did… I think that may have something to do with it. I had a bunch of moonstones that I saved up from the last couple Star Paths so I could upgrade to that one
How do you get free moonstones after you’ve done all the duties and opened all the chests?
Once you’ve completed the star path duties and you’ve traded all your tokens in for items and moonstones, you have to wait until the next star path comes out. I feel like it was unlimited before this current path which is a real bum if you weren’t playing from the beginning. I’ll have to check my previous vids to see if I captured that or not. As for the chests, in my experience, they spawn twice a day (I play mostly on the weekends - morning and evening - because of my work schedule). So, once you’ve opened both of them, you have to wait for the next day for them to spawn again. I think my 3rd chest was a fluke.
My question is why would they charge so much for the initial game and then turn around and want to charge you even more.... I mean I don't understand why... there's other games that are free with in game purchases I get that but this... I fully regret purchasing this game js
I get it. I really wish they would do something like give all the players who bought the game in early access, a bunch of free moonstones. Like at least 20,000. I think that would make a lot of us happy 😉

Yeah, I figured they did but the new dreamsnaps update coming out shortly should definitely help us get more moonstones. I’m excited about this summer update 🤗
