- Today we are designing two ways to design the new tangled castle in the premium shop! This was such a tricky house skin to design around with its issues but after MANY trials, I'm excited to share my new 2 ways to decorate video :) Hope it helps with some inspo!

sidenote- sorry that this video does not have both daytime and night shots. Some of my footage got corrupted and I could not save it, but my next video will have the usual both. If you are having trouble seeing, please adjust your PC/mobile brightness. Sometimes your device can make things appear darker than they really are due to your settings! 🙂 Thanks again for your support and understanding!
For multiple house skins you must make your main house the skin you want to use, and then you can place a 2nd one under the house/furniture tab :) you can only do this once with the house on your main valley and the dlc! so pick and choose your builds carefully! if you do not want to use the 2nd house skin, just swap in a different cottage :)

I'm in the same boat, I've not done well lately on my dreamsnaps so I've started hoarding my moonstones a little. I didn't feel bad this week since I already have so many castles but watching how beautifully you decorated with the Corona Castle now has me itching to buy it!

Lovely builds but could I suggest doing to build with daylight in the game, it’s hard to see what your doing when it’s really dark
sorry! I LOVED this build during golden hour so I recorded it during that time since this build is very focused on illumination. It helped me figured out where I needed my lights!
For a temporary fix, you could also adjust your PC/mobile brightness too for this video! sometimes your pc or phone can make a video appear darker than it really is do to the settings :) I usually showcase my builds in both daylight and evening depending on the build, but sadly this video had some corrupted footage which is why there's only evening shots near the end! My next video will have the usual both !
HI, Nora! I think I've watched this video like 8 times at various speeds to try to really see exactly what you're doing and where, because I'm absolutely copying as much as I can, LOL. I don't have some of the items/houses you do yet, so that's one issue, but of all your builds this might be my very favorite, so I need-need-need it in my valley, too. :) I'm combining them both into one, and I love the way it's coming out. I love ALL of your builds, so it's tough to pick a favorite for real, but this one is definitely top ten. Thank you so much for always sharing your amazing content! :)
I do have a question, if you happen to see this: it looks like there are two of Lady Tremaine's house, or is the second one a different home? I can't quite tell. Is there a secret to getting more than one of the same building?
This is the first time I've tried truly decorating on DDV because the mechanic seemed so difficult to me. I know everyone pretty much hates the way they've slowed down the speed for it now, but it's been really helpful for me on the Switch. Before, things just flew all over, it was super hard to get them into position. Now it's much better, but maybe they'll settle on a middle ground so everyone will be happy-ish.
However... I got a nasty surprise tonight. I thought the item limits for the Switch were bad enough, but I thought the valley and Eternity Isle each had their OWN separate limits. Nope. That 3000 total item limit is for both together! Are they insane?!? I don't know if it's Nintendo's fault for not optimizing the Switch better (the lag in ACNH was always terrible), or GameLoft's for not doing something for Switch consoles on their end, or both, but they need to fix that like yesterday. I could hardly believe it when I saw the numbers ramp up over on the Isle after I'd been decorating in the valley.
It feels super discouraging now. I'm already at 500 of 600 for the individual types of items and 1400 of 3000 for the total limit, and I haven't completed a single biome. I've got little tiny spaces done here and there, just a few, but that's it, and I haven't gone crazy with the cluttering at all, yet somehow my numbers are sky high. I know we can turn that limit off, but then the risk of crashing and stuff seriously increases, and my game already crashes every single time I play. I don't know that I could tolerate more of that. :( I really wish I had started this on PC, but I've sunk way too much $$$ into it now to change, and even the 6000 item limit seems very small when spread out over both the valley and the isle. But 3000 is just... not doable. At least not in a fun way.
Sorry, I really just wanted to ask about the houses and wound up doing a lot of complaining, I'm just feeling frustrated at the moment. But no matter what, your builds are always stunning and make me happy to watch, so thanks again for sharing! :)
i miss the acnh content the most, i wish it was popular still
i still play but its stream content only for the foreseeable future, with no updates and support, it wouldn't be healthy for me to lock my channel into a game that isnt supported as main content anymore , plus I have made LOTS of islands and videos for it! ddv and palia give you a very similar feel to acnh, I totally recommend them! they are easily now my top favorite games along with acnh :)
