A very important member of Fleetwood Mac a creative genius. Great guitar player.
RIP Danny you’re not forgotten
Danny was such a fine player.
Sadly forgotten by many. Quality guitarist.
This is great. You are getting at the heart of the Danny Kirwan phenomenon, and the reason we cherish his music and his memory.
I wished I could’ve seen him play live! What an amazing talent! Overlooked and not given the recognition or credit as Peter Green. I think they benefited from each other as musicians. Grateful to still be able to enjoy his music. May he be in peace!Thank you Danny!💗🙏🏽💐
Thank you for DannysChants!! Grateful for the music we have - tragedy not more. Sweet genius!
Thanks for this! Good to know there are others who appreciate Danny's brilliance, deft touch and emotional playing as much as I do!
You're welcome. I know how much of a fan you are so your comment means a lot.
@@RobbyByrne Thanks...you have me pegged. Danny never received the accolades he deserved while he was in the band and was swept under the rug like a nasty family secret afterwards. To be relegated to being homeless, friendless and living in an alcoholic haze for over three decades is absolutely criminal, whether he was too temperamental and difficult to work with or not. Without Danny FM never would have survived the transition from Peter to the pop band they became. If nothing else, his former band mates could have looked after his well being with the millions they made.
@@buellosaurusrex4046 I'm with you 100%.
Thank you so much for remembering Danny ❤
exactly 🙂 x
THAT sounds incredible! But my favorite is Dragonfly
one of a kind.
Thank you. That was fun. Appreciate your work.
thank you so much. BTW That's BW's guitar on Future Games
Oh, nooooo! Thanks.
I received another wake up call on Purple Dancer a two months back. Been bugging me so much I decided to do a revised upload. Appreciated the feedback.

more blues??
please 🙂
thankyou for sharing this..
Tengo el vinilo del second chapter. Pero ya escucho que la eléctrica la sabe manejar.
nice compilation but 2:01 is jeremy spencer on the slide
Yea, thanks. I should have known that. My bad.
Where’d you get the live version of Dust?
Finally, someone asked. There are no live renditions of Dust and You Tube has copyright laws on the Bare Trees album so I found a decent cover that I edited. I wasn't happy about it, but it's too good a song to forgo. I found an upload of the Bares Trees LP that ran a tad fast that escaped copyright detection and edited another short solo within the song and included it during DK solos part 3. If I had only found it earlier.
@@RobbyByrne Yeah, I was really surprised that there was even a live version of the song until I found the exact same cover you’re talking about. I’ve been looking for a live version forever until I realized it was left off their shows altogether. It’s a shame they never played the song live; it’s one of my favorites of the DK era, but it's understandable why it wouldn’t have fit into their set.
@@RobbyByrne superior
Unfortunately, overshadowed by The Green God, but not intentionally. Peter would never do that! 🤍
not sure DK played this segment of Future Games, & i've studied it a lot - unlike any riffs he did before or after - but Welch did in one of their filmed shows in Germany, badly
Thanks for all your comments. You're right and it's not the only mistake I made in this upload. I decided to upload a revised video as a result. czcams.com/video/RNYO0iSWaMU/video.html
@@RobbyByrne one of the greatest riffs I ever heard anywhere was his explosion at the end of Future Games - maybe you can include it
@@a_missippian I wanted to do that explosion as you call it, but I thought it was Welch's lead due to that triplet style of his. Can you give me the timeline so I can be sure?
@@RobbyByrne 07:31-07:38 - he used similar progressions several times on other tracks, Station Man & Tell Me All The Things ... come to mind, plus others - cheers
@@a_missippian Appreciate. I was referring to the lead up to the final chorus about a minute earlier.
