  • OleBiddy.TV ventures out in a 1977 Boston Whaler - 40hp 2 stroke that putt's them around.... backwards. Take a look at this bad girl hitting the water for the first time in 5 years. Don't worry, more content will be coming with this Whaler ripping full tilt on the open ocean.

I always wanted one since I was a kid watching Flipper on TV. Bud and Sandy had a great play ground.

Yes those were the days !! Got mine in 1966 13' with 33,hp !! I believe my dad paid 1300 without trailer since we lived on lake ! Remember filling 6gal. tank for ,1.80 !! I would like to know the hours spent on magdalene !! All I ever did was change plugs ! I also got idea from flipper ! Moved in 1972 but didn't sell it until around 1980 ! Never lived on a lake again but not far from a real beautiful lake mostly in s.c. but some of it in n.c. l have owned 7 or 8 since but really have nice memories from first whaler & for some reason no pictures what so ever!!!

I live in northern Illinois. We mostly fish Wisconsin and Minnesota with the occasional trip to southern Ontario. My first boat was a 16 Lund. Family got bigger, bought a 18’ Lund Alaskan. Now I’m back to a Lund SSV 14. The rocks would destroy a Whaler. I would love to explore the Everglades with a small skiff. ( and a guy that knows the area). I love smallmouth, but a snook or two would be awesome.

Currently restoring one. Built a center console for it. Never got used to sitting in that position.

I don’t mind it I usually sit on a throwable cushion and ride center if I’m solo. It’s fun to slide the bench around corners

@@olebiddytv1417 Understandable. Over the next year or so I am going to be looking for either a Carolina skiff or Boston whaler of similar size, so I may come back to this with some arguments in the future.

Tilt your engine up so it's at least level.
