I worked in Yosemite at the Ahwahnee Hotel…. It’s scary how accurate this is. Especially the beginning, people there are entirely useless as fuck.
I began this story here and was cut short and forgot until I just heard someone on another channel try to cover it. I say try because I could not get back here fast enough. You have a rare talent and I have been spoiled by your ability to make me feel I am living the words that you speak. LOVE this story but ngl i am throughly creeped out cuz I live near yellowstone and stanislaus forest and once in a while ya get stories of a missing person who wandered too far and is missing in the woods.

I wonder if it created the first opening in the mountain or if it found it and hid in side then camouflaged it when it was eating. Know like spiders can do that turn a natural hole into its own hunting ground.
Or if it created the opening from it's own realm into ours hence it not always being visible. If thats that case could it just create a new opening ?

Somehow, I both like the monster in this and find its inclusion in this story uninteresting. Disappearing caves, anomalous or non-euclidean landscapes are all things I love in horror media, and for all that to just be the preface for a monster, even if the monster is cool, seems somewhat predictable and underwhelming. I've never experienced something like this before, where a story has all these elements I enjoy, but I just end up not liking it. Very strange.
