Democracy in India is virtually devoured up by the hungry sharks of arrogant autocracy. All the vital pillars of democracy are already mangled beyond repair and recognition. The vibrant voices of dissent are deliberately demonised and now en masse dragged out of reach leaving no room for debates and deliberations over key bills affecting the destiny of the nation. The bills are bulldozed through the opposition mukt empty house resembling a haunted house of democracy in the grave. We are dragged into the darkest dome of total darkness where we grove for direction. The collective conscience stands paralysed in the absence of a true leader of stature like Gandhi or Netaji. Denmark is totally out of joint under the oppressive rule of sectarian autocracy leaving no room for open air.

Nariman conveniently skips Judicial Accountability, he should look in the mirror , no word on opaque collegium of which he is a beneficiary ,judges deciding judges,…very convenient, eh Fali. Before sermonising, look in the mirror,..Lok Sabha has the will of the people, unlike nepotist, biased and opaque judiciary which tries to hoist itself on high moral platform, which people, majority of them don’t buy,.so there you are and there’s the govt, who’s better, not difficult to choose, of course the govt, smell coffee Fali

These people become vocal in public forums and criticise everyone. They have a garb, black in every respect. Under that they threaten contempt, under that exorbitant charges are exhorted by advocates, justice is delayed and bought. Why don't they clean up the judiciary? Are the judges illiterate to listen to years long arguments by extorting Vakils, instead of studying the papers submitted by the applicant and defendant?
Until and unless we stop these advocates and fix their charges, justice will be influenced by other means than facts.

Is there any person who can strictly be stamped as 'impartial'? SC judges have their specific duties to perform, it is unethical to poke their nose in non-judicial matters. SC has detailed out their observation on Art 356, a person has the right to express his personal opinion, not necessarily right nor to be given any importance.

  • @manoharanthottarath7071

If judiciary takes years to pronounce judgements on important national issues, the purpose of justice will be lost. Justice delayed is justice denied. Our judiciary should be fiercely independent and pronounce judgements as per the law. In India, politicians have made a mockery of the Anti Defection law. Now MLAs elected on one party symbol swich sides and join another minority party and make that minority into a majority and thereafter form goveenment. Then, some such MLAs become ministers! But, what our judiciary is doing? It takes years to decide a case and by the time the decision is pronounced, the term of the assembly would have been over or some important developments take place. The Maharashtra case is a glaring case. The unfortunate thing is that the people who elected these MLAs have no say in such cases. Still, we proclaim that India is the 'Mother of Democracy' and we are entering the Amrit Kal! If democracy is to flourish, our political system must be revamped.

The judge who given the judgement that Section 66A of IT ACT,2000 if anyone commits annoyance to anyone while online conversation can ke booked under 3 years of imprisonment but Shreya singhal approached the supreme court of India because it is the custodian of our fundamental right and constitution which means section 66A of IT ACT 2000 violates article 19 of Indian constitution which is right to speech and expression because section 66A booked 2 girls in prison because they both commited annoyance to shiv sena group headed by bal Thackeray on his death anniversary.
Both girls commented against the shiv sena party.
This judgement explains best that constitution is the supreme law of land which enjoys special legal sanctity.

    1. BBC Tamil channel sh ould be watched with proper translation by this learned judge. Highly detrimental to India
    2. BBC agreed to tax evasion and paid the dues.
    3. BBC's reportage on Gujarat itself mocks at our judicial system of which the learned judge is a part
    4. Kashmir judgement was given after listening to hours of arguments by a battery of lawyers and they could not convince 5 judges that Indian Constitution was in any way compromised
    5. CEC ruling by SC was a mere technical one and tried to set right a procedural lacuna, which has been corrected by the new law in Parliament. Averring an elected MP is less sincere about Indian constitution than a chosen judge smacks of arrogance
    6. Ultimately what is democracy for, apart from saving the country and constitution? For letting JeM bomb pandits and get rid of them?
    Rants of a privileged lot.
